Most Christians I talk to seem to think it belongs in the science and mathematics. :P

The vast majority of religous doctrine can't be tested or even observed. Science relies on these very things in order to progress. Religion is dogmatic - no investigation is required.

I always find it difficult to understand why a christian can call muslims belief simply incorrect, yet take offense when theirs is similarly described. Don't they know that, at their core, muslims believe just as strongly as they do? Don't they realize how insulting it must be? Aren't they supposed to live their lives without doing things like deliberately insulting or offending others?

I guess not.

This seems quite appropriate. The ones that want it as a science are people that believe we rode dinosaurs. That Jackson, Mississippi was once Eden, Scientologists etc.

I think it shouldn't be treated as anything more than a mere hobby.

And yes - closer to mythology and folklore.

I think it makes perfect sense to me. What's the difference between the Greeks making up a concept of God or the Hebrews, its the same damn thing?

I have no problem with where they put it really. if it would not be here it would be somewhere else and then someone would ask what others thought of it being there instead. A unrelenting circle.

God Bless

Heh.

If one of them could show me the difference between God, Allah, or leprechauns I would agree that it should be moved.
