Do you believe in the Bible? The main reason is because of Revelation 22:18. God says do not add anything to this book yet you have the Book of Mormon, so if you do believe in the Bible that is contradicting your religion.

It also says that removing anything is a curse. Why do you omit the coming forth of the Book of Mormon? Don't you believe the Bible?
Revelation 10:8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.
10 And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

Many mistakenly cite Rev. 22:18-19 as evidence that the Book of Mormon is false. When it was originally written, the Bible did not exist as one single book, but rather was a collection of books. The scripture at the end of the book of Revelation, which suggests that nothing should be added, is only referring to that book (the book of Revelation), not the entire Bible. The Bible did not even exist as a single book until centuries after Christ's death. In fact, most scholars agree that Revelation was not even the last book in the Bible to be written. Should we throw out the other books in the New Testament that were written after Revelation, then?
Additionally, there is a scripture in Deuteronomy (12:32) which also says nothing should be added. Using this same logic, we should throw out the entire New Testament and much of the Old! Of course such a Biblical interpretation is not valid.

We didn't ADD anything to the Bible. The Book of Mormon is Another Testament of Jesus Christ. The only time we touch the Bible is to read out of it.
The Book of Mormon is about people in America who have been influenced by Jesus Christ/God before/during/after Jesus Christ's birth. Isaiah isn't the only one inspired by the Holy Ghost.
Have you read the Book of Mormon? Or is your question based on what other people say?

Capt. also beat me to it, there are 2 passages in the OT that forbid adding or taking away from scripture. What the passage in Revelation means is that YOU, man, do not alter my scriptures... however I, GOD, can cause more to be added if I so will.
Interestingly the Book of Mormon teaches the very same principles as the Bible.. the very same Good News Gospel... so to fight against the Book of Mormon is in effect to fight against the Bible which teaches the same thing.
OTOH many LDS (Utah Mormon) teachings are utterly absent from the Book of Mormon. Many teachings are even taught AGAINST in the Book of Mormon such as polygamy, racism, and concepts associated with Baptism for the Dead, Celestial Marriage and 3 Degrees of Glory. The LDS only marginally follow the Book of Mormon and in many ways disobey it. Today there are some 100 different churches that accept the Book of Mormon (and Bible) as scripture.

Yes, that verse says "this book." It does not say the Bible. What book is that verse in? The Revelation of St. John the Divine. So by your reasoning, all the other books in the Bible should be discounted because they have been added to the Book of Revelation.

cpt. beat me to it! :-)
The verse in Revelation that you pointed out refers specifically to the book of Revelation, since the Bible as we know it wasn't assembled at the time Revelation was written.
Why would God decree that He would no longer speak to man or give additional instruction/scripture? Does that even make any sense? Think about it.
