You can get it for that price at the dealership if you have another key. Other wise you're looking at $100 any where.

If you have two keys that start the car... most Ford dealers will cut a approved version by Ford (Ford only certifies certain brands to work in their PATS system) for usually $30.
You can get the keys on line at E Bay for cheaper but you would have to find a willing person to cut the blank as one messup is a $20 key shot to hell.
IF you only have 1 key and need another.... no less than $75 is the cheapest you can possibly get a key and programming for from either a dealer or locksmith.. but both will be roughly the same price with the locksmith being a hair cheaper but the Ford dealer able to diagnose it better

Try like $100-150 for that key replacement. And you most likely will have to go through the dealership to get one, as most lock smiths are not equipped with the key blanks.
Another way for car manufacturers to rob people of their money.
And don't think you can just use a non-chipped key, your car won't like you and depending on the vehicle will activate the alarm and/or activate the engine demobilizer.

Bah humbug, go to a locksmith and if you have 2 keys then you only need to have a new one cut. then you can program it yourself by looking in the owners manual.
If you have one key then it will run about 70 bucks if you take the car into a locksmith, 35-40 if you already have 2 keys and just need a third. Same place Locksmith...

check a local locksmith, but most likely to do it right your going to have to go to a dealership and shell out $100 + for a new one, some will do a set for the same price, the problem with the cost is the key itself, its expensive
best of luck
