aren't we as humans supposed to have domain over all the animals? yet, if you try explaining this to a wild bear, you'll get your head ripped off. if anything i would say bears, at the very least, have domain over humans.

maybe god DID make the animals all friendly...but some were mistreated by humans and acted accordingly.
god gave humans dominion in the sense that we are to be caretakers and stewards of all creation. dominion does not equal domination.

This is because god didn't make the animals or anything else. God does not exist; the animals evolved to be able to take care of themselves

According to the bible they once were all friendly in the Garden of Eden, and lions used those giant canines to chew carrots.
Eagles used their perfectly designed talons to pick apples, and sharks used those ridged teeth and tearing jaws to pluck seaweed from the bottom of the ocean.
It was an awesome time of wonder.
