They have all those interactive fisher-price games now. They have this one bicycle thing where if you pedal it, you learn your letters and numbers, and I found that completely interesting. Maybe it'd help her learn some. I think you can get it at Wal-Mart.

Buy a couple gifts so it looks a little better. But buy like a baby doll or a couple little girl gifts like that. Barbie dolls, picture books are wonderful. I have a 2 year old and books are the best. And a disney movie or cartoon like Dora, Braney, Baby estein is the best for a 2 year old. They learn alot from that. hope I helped oyu a litlle. Don't get clothes a 2 year old cares nothing about clothes.

Most 2 year olds like "Little People" stuff. I love it myself! (Link below!) Or just a soft doll would be nice. As for the mother, ask your husband what she is interested in. Give her a gift card instead of money. Otherwise she'll probably spend the money on something not for her (that's what I tend to do!). Target is good, most people prefer that to Wal-Mart, or a gift card to Barnes and Noble is she likes to read, etc. Gift cards are pretty generic gifts, unless you know where they like to shop and then that makes it more personal. Happy Holidays!

I think books are a great gift. I don't know a child who doesn't like them. I would suggest a big picture book. One with hard pages so they don't ripe easily and the pictures will keep the child's attention. For your step-daughter try a gift card to a store she may like. I love Barnes and Nobel gift cards!

Books! A great christmas story goes a long way with kids. Gift card for step-daughter would probably be very appreciated. Either that or something like lotions or bath oils (bath & body works type stuff). Having a two year old she probably isn't buying nice girly things for herself right now.

You can't go wrong with books for kids! What about a gift card for your step daughter that she can use where she lives?

dont get barbies or dolls because they either love them or hate them & she might hate them. you should probably get a nice cosy pair of pyjamas and slippers :) or something like a "special grandaughter" teddy, or necklace thats like a keepsake thing :)
