You're correct. the writers were not sufficiently spiritually enlightened to comprehend what God was revealing to them. That is why Jesus came and taught a completely different philosophy.

Religion is difficult to understand, at best. That's where FAITH comes in. You have presented many separate issues here. If you are intersted in the origin of the bible, as we know it, you may want to check out, The First Council of Nicaea, as it relates to the Emperor Constantine, 325 AD. He supposedly gathered the writings of the Apostles of Christ and other significant figures of the time, and picked what he felt should be included in the Holy Bible. Constantine was actually a pagan at this time but a good politician. He did, however, turn to Christianity on his deathbed. I hope this helps. Before you call the Bible "hooplaush" (what is that?), I suggest you read it. We all suffer when we dash our religion and the religion of others without trying to learn about it and understand it! We are fighting wars because of this!! People are dying because of this!! Yes, Yes!! We are all equal and we all need to survive. A huge step we all need to take is to treat others as we wish to be treated!

If you read the Bible, you will find that there are over 60 references to "dinosaurs" within it. However as the word "dinosaurs" was not coined until the late 1800s, the Bible uses the older word "dragons" to refer to the animals.
By the later books of the Bibles, references to "dragons" are to creatures found only dead in desolate and deserted placed. Just like today, people were finding the bones and fossils of dinosaurs, and knew that they had once existed.
If you move back towards the early books of the Bible, such as Psalms, you will find specific references to types of dragons that include the Behemoth (a large land animal that appear to fit the modern idea of a bird-hipped dinosaurs such as a T-Rex) and Leviathan (a water based dinosaur).
In the very early book of Job, it ask if it is possible to bridle a behemoth like you would a horse, or to caught a Leviathan like you would a fish. The description of both animals (Job 40 and 41) is detailed enough to rival any modern scientist understanding of dinosaurs, what they looked like and how they acted.
If these animals were no known personally to the author, then the "scientist" of his day had somehow reconstructed these creatures in remarkable detail. A feat that modern science has yet to explain. Either than, or some of them were still around at the time man lived.
As for there being no specific mention of dinosaurs during the six days of creation, note that there are many animals that are not mentioned. There is not a single mention anywhere in the entire Bible of a cat. Yet no one questions that they existed and had a place in ancient history.
The Bible was never intended to be a science or zoology text book. Rather it is a book about the nature of God and how man relates to him. Cats had no important part to play in that, so they receive no mention in the Bible. Dinosaurs had little to do with it, so they receive little mention.
The amount of time between the creation of Adam and what we would call the "beginning of history" is unclear. The Bible gives no dates. Some have tried to guess a date using the genealogies of scripture. But if you look at the dozens of genealogies recorded in the Bible, you will find that alomst every one (including the genealogy of Jesus in Matthew 1) skips over generations. That was standard practice in those days. You listed the names that were needed to demonstrate your point. You skipped the rest.
So there is sufficient room in the Bible for the creation of man and the existence of dinosaurs. For example, at the same time man was overpopulating Europe, there were parts of America covered with herds of bison (buffalo) that numbers in the billions, with a handful of "stone age" natives follwoing them for an occasional kill. What prevents the existence of dinosuar herds in some parts of earth, and the existence of humans in others? Or the existence of humans along sides dinosaurs (such as those drawn on cave walls in europe slaying mammoth and other dinosaurs)?
The existence of dinosaurs is no reason to reject the Bible, as it talks frequently about them.

If that's no longer watered down too lots particular. The observe is sharper than any 2 edged sword. it won't return void. So if a individual truly is calling for Christ with that Bible, & it shows them the plan of salvation, then it does, in any different case that's a valueless.

I'm sorry to say but man was made on the sixth day so all the other creatures were created before man-(remember one-day to God is like a thousand years).
But man didn't create the bible because the bible has been attacked for 2,000 years and still it remains. Had man created the bible it would have died long ago.

if you believe that, then you don't have any faith. God blessed the men who wrote the Bible, to write the Bible. And the women that you know that think they can populate the world without men, are crazy, so stop worrying about that. Dinosaurs were made when the rest of the animals were made. Remember, Adam named them. Hold on to faith.

Why is the fact that dinosaurs are not mentioned in the Bible so bloody troubling to so many. Green peppers and radishes aren't mentioned either....nor is there any mention of polar icecaps. Fact is, most things are not specifically mentioned in the bible because the bible never claims to be an exhaustive reference of all flora, fauna, geology, geography, etc, etc, etc.
It is a book on how to live one's life in a manner that elevates man above his natural, animalistic tendencies.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but your rant is irrelavent.

This is what the Scriptures tell us about this:
2 Peter 1:20-21 “Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.”
2 Timothy 3:16 “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness”
Regardless of what you believe, the Scriptures remain true & reliable........they hold the only absolutes in life.

Actually, the bible picks up where things that pertain to man (Humans) began. God prepared this place for us...including the dinos before we (humans) were part of the equasion.
As far as the last part...breath dear...you will feel better.
