When you're on top, he's basically pinned, and not able to move as much as he needs to, to stay hard. Vary your positions: Doggie, scissors, him on top.

There's nothing wrong with his "thing." There just isn't enough sensory input to keep him stimulated with you on top all the time.

I would think that he might have a psychological problem with you being on top - just guessing.
My husband and I are always in that position and everything is fine with us. We are both 52.

Who know es what normal is anymore.Try changing positions and let him pick one.let him do what he wants.and then your way.I WON'T GO INTO DETAIL. AS IT'S NOT A GOOD IDEA.

i personally like that position myself...it's one of my favorites....i like to do those things you mentioned too! if he's going soft maybe he's stressed out and thinking of other things...does he go soft if you're in other positions?
