Joseph, it is understandable that when you reach out and share Christ that you get attacked. Satan is angry and wants to discourage you from doing the will of God. But remember, the Bible says we are more than conquerors through Christ! The power of God is always with us. We just have to remember that Christ overcame the world and so can we. You are a son of the Most High God! Hold your head up because there is NOTHING our Father does not have control over! All things are possible with our Father in heaven! NOTHING is impossible! When ever you share the love of Christ with others, rest assure God is there with you and ready to deliver you from all situations! He is still on the throne and in control and we are still His children! You are so precious to God that He counts the hairs on your head. Will He not deliver you? He STILL delivers His people from the hand of the enemy! We are to expect persecution and opposition but that does not mean that this will last forever. He has given us instructions to share the love of Christ to the world. Rest assure He WILL deliver us, and is able to deliver us! We can do all things through Christ! The victory is already yours! You are in my prayers!
May the Lord bless you for doing His will!

The easiest way for me to understand this is by thinking of it in terms of Warfare. When you stand up on the battlefield you are more open to attacks. Satan is not worried about you when you are hiding in the foxhole. I always get hammered when I start working for God. I fail a lot....same thing situations, bills, events, but God always just says. Lets try this again. So back to the battlefield we go. Continue with your fight. Be encouraged.
I will pray for you

The power of God IS always with you. All you have to do is embrace it. Nothing good comes easy. If it were easy then what would be the point? You might want to check out www.littluns.net where you can buy the novel "Littluns and the Book of Darkness." Life offers many choices for the Light or darkness, but in God's Light you will find all things good including love, hope, joy, and your hearts desire.

Sasi, Jesus said that in this world we would have troubles, but to relax for He has overcome the world. We all have times where things go wrong for us and especially wrong when we are trying hard to honor God and do what He wants us to do. SO....ask God to help you see: 1. Is there anything you are doing (sin) that might leave you vulnerable to satan's attacks? 2. Ask, Am I doing what you want me to do for this person I am sharing with? Is my timing right? 3. Is there anything I should do differently? 4. Am I going out prepared by prayer ? going out armed spiritually? (Eph 6). 5. Am I witnessing in God's power or my own?
When you ask these questions they may help you do some things differently. We all suffer opposition from satan, especially when we obey God and do His will. God promises to reward us someday for this kind of suffering. You need to know, Sasi, that God's power is always with us and we must learn how to draw on His power instead of trusting our own!
When the Bible instructed us to share Christ with others it used the parable of a sower who sowed seeds and the type of soil it fell on determined the crop outcome. The Bible also talks about a farmer who puts in his seed then trusts God for the crops. Paul said that one plants, another waters and God gives the crop. Just because you don't always see any obvious spiritual response to your efforts don't assume nothing happened. Most people need to encounter the truth of the gospel at least 7 times before they respond to it.
Go out and work in God's power and leave the results to Him. All our faithful service to God is rewarded - even if it is only giving a cup of cold water to a small child!!!

Christ is the power of God unto salvation, the Bible says. The fact that you meet such hostility when you try to share Christ and love others is PROOF that you are doing the right thing! You are rattling the enemy's cage! He doesn't like it! You must be doing something right!
The way to remain strong in the face of such opposition is to simply believe the promises of God despite external situations appearing to contradict them. By faith believe that God will honor your faithful witness, no matter what others say, no matter what your feelings are. Feelings are incredibly deceptive. The power of God is ALWAYS with his children who have but to tap all the resources of heaven that are at their disposal. As long as you proclaim in God's power and not your own, you will not grow faint; you will renew strength and mount up on wings as eagles. That's God's promise! Believe it. Pray more earnestly and tell God you are not going to stop just because you feel down. Remember that he is sovereign - he is always in control! I'll be praying for you!

We need a strong foundation in Christ You can share what God has done for you and that may be powerful enough to touch that one person and plant a seed for the Lord.( I have done it through out my life and never realized it until a couple years ago....lol)
How much do you spend time in the Bible,Praise and Worship?? How much time is spent at church??? Or atleast around strong Christians.???
How mature are you in Your Walk with God? because from the sound of it Your just needing to drink in the "Milk" and then try some "meat" later.
You have to PUT on the Armor of God It won't just jump on there in your heart or mind either.
Learn it- Live it- Love it!
If and When you fall get back up brush off ask for forgiveness and Go at it again.Press on through do not get stuck. And if you get stuck grab those around you to help you pull you out. Grant it sometimes we have to encourage ourselves but Most of the time God has set a Spiritual Family around us for a purpose. Music is a big helper of mine and I suggest you get some of your Favorite Christian Music and fave style it is out there. Develop a relationship with God As a Father He is the link - the power source- the supplier and He will fill you with His powerful Spirit to do mighty things for Him...If its to work with kids,or be a preacher He has something for you to do.Praise God!

The power of God is always with you. Jesus says you will be attacked for my name's sake. Making a true stand wins you glory in heaven, not on earth.
Judging how short our lives really are, I would rather have glory where I can keep it forever. Can't do that on earth.

I used to get a lot of attacks. ( I still do, but they aren't as severe). One thing, if you are attacked, then you know you are making the devil angry. I pray on the full armor of God everyday. When I have on Fathers armor, I look like the Father. I also pray the blood of Jesus to cover me, too. The full armor is spoken in Eph 6:11-18. I pray "I put on the full armor of God...the helmet of salvation, the...". I name all of the pieces. It is ok to read it out loud, as this will also build faith, as faith comes by hearing the Word of God.
I will pray for you to have faith and wisdom.

You're delusional. You can't prove the Bible is true or Jesus even existed. (Satan told me to attack you with this answer...kidding)
Your problem is you base your life on a Book you can't prove and the life of a man you can't even prove ever existed. Quit believing all that crap and the internal angst you feel will vaporize. It did for me.
