Multiple questions really (trying to get your 'money's' worth?)
We judge people because we are discriminatory by nature. I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing. Otherwise, we could never choose role models. But we also get a lot of our self-esteem by comparing ourselves with others -- not the best method.
The problem comes when we pigeonhole a person based on a small sample of his/her conduct; we project a whole personality based on this limited information. And, while pride allows us to excuse faults in our own behavior, it doesn't give the same benefit to others.
Only Christ makes me or anyone good enough.
No, no sin is worse than another in the sense that all are an equal offense to our relationship with God. Some, like murder, have a more immediate and dramatic impact, but lying and coveting are just as destructive.
The primary purpose of the Law is to show us that we are incapable of meeting God's standard of righteousness and holiness -- that we need His intervention thru a savior. And, you're right: one end result of that should be redemptive love for one another. But the redemptive part means that we sometimes point out apparent faults and help deal with them. That doesn't have to be 'judging', but it is part of discipling one another.

Yes! I follow the ten commandments. I honor them all, even the true Sabbath, Saturday, the seventh day of the week, not Sunday, the first day of the week. I follow the words of God and not the traditions of men. The Bible says if your guilty of one, your guilty of them all, and yes I fall short sometimes as well. That is why Jesus led a perfect life, without sin, so that if I fall down and confess my sin and repent, my sins are forgiven. I don't judge others, I'm not the judge, God is. "Judge not lest ye be judged". It's not what I am or do that will get me into the pearly gates, it's what Jesus did that will get anyone into the pearly gates, all you need do is believe on Him and His Father. By believing, I love Him, and if I love Him I will keep His commandments, He helps me.

Nobody, and I mean NOBODY keeps the 10 Commandments. It's not possible. We're sinful creatures, and nothing can change that. We are redeemed and forgiven of our sinful acts, but being a sinful person is what's known as "the human condition".
Jesus talked about judging others when he said, "do not take the speck out of your neighbor's eye before taking the log out of your own eye". In other words, don't judge others when you have done far worse than they have.
Judgment is reserved for God alone. So is salvation. None of us "earn" our way in to heaven. The only way we get there is through the grace and forgiveness of God, shown to us through Jesus Christ.

yes I beleive that the ten commandments are to be kept at all times. However I know that myself is by no way perfect and is unable to keep them all. In the eyes of god i am a lair, theft, adulterer, blaspamous son of satan. I know this and accept it only becuase i know that only throught the grace of god and Jesus' death I was set free from the hellfires. This does not by any means give me free ride to do with what i would. Meaning I am still held by the laws of moses, and of jesus to honor. Does this mean that if I mess up that I am bad? No. It means that I am human but it is not if I mess up, but how I rise again in my philogophy concering the matter. Striving for perfection in live is what we all should do, however when we fall short we should simply rise up again and contiue striving.

I think I covet and I sometimes tell fibs, like if I don't want to go out with my friends but I don't have an excuse, I just feel like staying home. They never accept that answer easily.
I'm working on it. I really am. I haven't lied in a long time. But I do covet things at times....

According to what the Bible says about the ten commandments, they were given to the Hebrew nation, and to us to be a "Schoolmaster" before the saving grace of Jesus came. After Jesus died and rose from the grave, he created a new commandment, to love one another just as he first loved us and gave himself a sweet-smelling aroma. Just like the incense smoke in the Holy of Holies was supposed to do in the Tabernacle.

I've had 2 speeding tickets and a bunch of parking tickets. I still consider myself a law abiding citizen. I've never killed a human being, but I have killed a few mice, cockroaches and mosquitoes. I've told a few lies, but I believe that honesty is the best policy. I've coveted my neighbors wife, but she doesn't know it. I've honored my father and mother by not turning out as messed up as they are. I can't remember the sabbath, because I don't know if it's Saturday or Sunday. And I've never watched American Idol, but I used to listen to Billy Idol on the radio.

you do not honor the royal law.
Your keep the 10 commandments because they are righteous an good.
You can not be saved by them, Chhrist saved us.
Are you saying we can murder ,that we can lie, that we can steal.
So, have christian raise christ back up on the cross, because you say its wrong to murder, Heavens no , We keep the the Law of God, for the Love of God is to keep His commandments.
So, do we decide which laws of God are righteous or good?
The 10 commandments are the character of YHWH and He does not changes.
P.S. So then, Christ saves the law condemns

I believe in a version of the 10 Commandments and try to follow faithfully despite not being religious per se. I believe that those particular rules were as Secular as they are religious...If you look at Law or study law you'll see this. PEACE!

It's a good question, but it omits one thing. The Law is impossible to follow - the 'pass mark' is 100%. As you say, if we can't follow the Law to a T, all the time perfect ...
Jesus came to offer another way, that we are forgiven as a gift, not because we have earnt it by being 'good'.
The Law concentrates on what we cannot achieve.
Jesus on what he has achieved for us.
Quite a big difference.
