I've liked this guy for about a year and a half but we've not spoken for that long either because he was put in a different class to me.
We're not in any of the same classes and I only see him around school or in the canteen.
I don't know how to approach him after all this time. We used to talk, we just haven't done for a while.
He's quiet shy and always hangs around with a group of friends.
How can I catch his attention and develop our relationship?
We're both 16.

You need to give him some attention so through the eyes, then smile, as he may be waiting on you to make a move. Once you have shown some sign of interest see what his response is. If it is good them start saying Hi! and start talking like you used to.

At his age if he doesn't notice you forget it. In 10 years time believe me if you asked him out he would say yes. If he has not got or had a girlfriend, ask him for a date when he is alone, and never in front of his friends. If you are cute he will say yes. Send him a Christmas card, and write: Happy Christmas, ist my favourite time of the year, especially the mistletoe! Have a great time and a brill New Year, love....(your name) xxx. Leave it at that and see!

If you are relaxed when you approach him and casually say Hi. He will be relaxed also and then you can restart your communication. Don't make a big deal out of it and it won't bother you. If he returns the Hi with a smile then you can ask how he's been.

try finding out the things he enjoys doing,mall,sports games etc..try to casually bump into him a few times,but space them out so it doesnt look too obvious or like your stalking him.at some point when you run into him say something like wow we just keep bumping into eachother,or hey longtime no see.maybe try asking for help in a subject,but dont make yourself appear stupid.either way be cool about it&confident&its gonna take time&effort on your part,but if your really feeling this guy its worth it.dont be too pushy eager or aggressive guys dont like that.

If you really love him do not be asham or shy just make you way toward him and say to him I LOVE you, he may have the same feelings like you, but he do not know how to tell you.

There's nothing much u can do actually... As he is quite shy... But, u can casually say hi to him and his friends and u noe... Play with eyes... If he responds, then bring it further... If, he's not interested, then move on baby... He's not worth it...
