Are you looking for IRS service or tax help? IRS.gov is a good resource for researching various tax laws. It's free.
If you're looking for free tax prep help, there are some volunteer organizations that help low income people. You might also check your local universities because many times their accounting students volunteer for this sort of thing for practice. But you need to get online and find out what's in your area.

You can get free service anywhere. CORRECT help is something you may have to pay for.
Check your local phonebook for an IRS office or call the IRS at 800-829-1040. You can also find your local office here: http://www.irs.gov/localcontacts/index.html
