I had a screening done at work, and my T4 levels were high. Does this mean I need to worry about Hyperthyroid, or do all the other levels need to be high as well? All the other tests were in the normal range.

I know I need to talk to my doctor (I'm actually waiting for a call back from him), but was wondering what those out there thought.

Also, All the websites say the normal range is this.. and if yours is high, it's possible you have it. But how high does it need to be?

I spoke with my Dr. and she wants me to get retested in a few months, since I'm having no symptoms. Thanks for all the help!

any number of things can elevate a T4, and if all your other levels were normal, I very much doubt hyperthyroidism is your issue. If it concerns you, or you are having symptoms like rapid weight loss or hair loss, see your doctor.

I'm not sure about the medical part of it or how high your levels need to be, but sometimes there are noticeable physical symptoms. My brother suffers with hyperthyroidism. He lost a TON of weight REALLY quickly - his eyes appeared to be "bugging out". If you do have it, don't worry. With treatment, he's completely healthy now. (BTW, whatever happens, make sure you ALWAYS get a second opinion. One doctor almost took my brother's thyroid out! My mom got a second opinion and was told it wasn't necessary. He's not even on medication anymore and has no problems with his thyroid after treatment. He would have been on medication for the rest of his life had they taken it out.)
