Hello,
My husband and our family bought a home close to base, and 6 weeks later he cheated on me with a girl he met off the internet, and took off. He just got home from a deployment, and like I said was home 6 weeks. I filed for divorce, and we had it done. The court ordered him to pay for half the house for one year. He has not been. He says he doesn't have to. Without spending money I don't have on lawyers, how can i make him pay it?

Also,
I was cleaning out one of his storage buildings I never went in when he was here, and found alot of Military stuff like tents, and buckets and I don't know, all kinds of items that he got from the Army. I asked him about them,he said he found them in a dumpster. I seriously don't believe him,They are expensive looking things, like tents, and Misc. Now he is always asking me what I did with them, and seems very worried.I need to turn them into somebody I know... What do I do?? Who do I contact. I am not familiar with Military.

Look up the phone number of the Army CID, the Criminal Investigation Command, in the government pages of your phone directory.

He should have some sort of allotment set up from his check to your morgage company. Go through his unit to get this done.

Honestly, we have a ton of Army stuff they throw out. Things like new desk chairs... they got new ones when they already had new ones and out in the dumpster they went. Small things like that...but, if you want to ask his Unit then do. Just remember.... if he loses rank or gets an article 15 then it will be even harder to get your house payment.

When an IG is coming up stuff that is not on the books gets dumped. Once in the dumpster it is fair game. I saw guys tossing expensive test equipment, tools all kinds of valuable stuff. His explanation works for me.

Try to keep the anger in check. It can work against you too.

I would contact the post provost marshal and have them take that stuff. On the other matter pursue it in court. If he is still in the military then he will have his pay rerouted straight to you without his say-so. That's all I know on that front.

For support money, contacty his unit commander.

As far as the found equipment, contact your local police department. If you live near a military installation, they will know how to handle this.
