I have natural, black-brown hair. Not colored. It's on the thin side. Want something that won't be too strong for my hair, strengthens it and makes it shiny and adds VOLUME! please, thanks! :)

Hi I would suggest for the oooph effect and to make your hair really shiny and full of live without being to fuffly, Avons Advance Teqniques Volume and Texture Shampoo, its briliiant stuff, some volumising shampoos like loreal, pantene etc make the hair all fluffy and frizzy as it adds volume but this doesnt it leaves hair smooth silky and full of body and volume and it looks natural. You will have to try it to believe me but its worth it.

We can't go just by the description you gave; what's "thin" to you, might be "thick" to someone else (no pun intended).

Read the labels of all the shampoos in your local store(s), and/or go to your trusted beautician or cosmetics retailer for advice, although, naturally, the latter two will only sell you what they have in the store!

Regardless, the only one who can tell what works is you, so buy one or two that sound really good to you, and then try ONE for a week or two, then try the other for a week or two. DO NOT MIX THE TWO!!! Continue to buy whichever one you feels works best for you.

Honestly from what all my friends who are in the salon biz what you use really doesnt matter. To get volume to mine I just brush my slightly damp hair from flipping my hair over works for me. I dont buy shampoos based on what they say they can do I just buy what I think works best and keeps it clean best. But if thats not what your looking for, try the pantene line or talk to your stylist to see what they suggest but, careful the good stuff from the salons is $$$$ and not alwayz best whats found on the shelves works too.

Pantene Pro V Glacier Ice edition worked wonders for me make sure you follow it up with the conditioner! Also for styling use VO5 frizz and volume moose it is in a red bottle and it has been a lifesaver!
