The government provides for one free credit report per year from each of the three credit info providers. Check out the FTC website. It doesn't include your "score", but it includes a complete report.

You can get free credit reports at AnnualCreditReport.com but you will have to pay for your credit score anywhere you go.
If you are just intererested in your credit score, go to MyFico.com. You'll get your real FICO score but you will still have to pay for it.

This depends. Are you PAYING for your credit bureau report, or are you using the annualcreditreport.com site? If you are using the annualcreditreport.com, then no, it is just to confirm that you are who you say you are. If you are using freecreditreport.com, they don't charge you for the report, but they will start charging you for a program called triple advantage credit monitoring. Other websites will probably charge you as well.
