I have to agree that it can be a guilty pleasure. I love yelling back at some of the people. Its cathartic.

LOL, I regularly listen to Christian radio. The talk shows don't bother me, but I LOVE the public service announcement some Christian stations play that's made by The Ad Council. It cautions young women not to post nude pictures of themselves on the internet.

When you think about it, that's ironic on several different levels, isn't it?!

Actually, I was driving home late one night and came across the scariest thing I'd ever heard...

It was some kind of monotone Christian affirmation. Sounded like some kind of mind-control programming. Creepy beyond belief. ("Just surrender your life to God. God is good. Loving God is your reason for living." In a very quiet and toneless voice.)

I love it.

I especially love the call in shows. I make a point to give them a call from time to time, and ask them denominational questions that gets them in trouble with their base.

There is nothing better than asking a host with an honest approach whether baptism counts if it was done with a sprinkle at birth. Then hanging up and listening to the war.

I agree. I heard a show one day that was basically blaming the illegal immigration issue on abortion. If all the children who would do our "lower class" jobs weren't being aborted, companies wouldn't have the need to hire illegals to do those jobs.

Basically, they were saying that certain people are "meant" to be born into a lower class position, and never have anything. Nice, huh?

There's a Christian TV show here that once did an hour presentation on the question "Are the dead conscious?".

Jesus f'n Christ.

Hilarious, and frightening at the same time. Weird.

You know, I haven't heard it, but sometimes I watch Benny Hinn push people over... This is usually after a few cocktails.

It's only funny when you know you can change the station once you've had enough. When that's the only thing available, it's horrifying
