Packaging either as preformed blocks that enable the item, such as a tv, to fit into a coccoon or as chips for more general filling
Thermal insulation such as pipe lagging or sheets.

According to Wikipedia:
it "can be transparent or can be made to take on various colors. It is economical and is used for producing plastic model assembly kits, license plate frames, plastic cutlery, CD "jewel" cases, and many other objects where a fairly rigid, economical plastic is desired."

1.Sheet form PS used for packaging after Thermoforming process pressed between two hot plates and get what shape we need. eg: Egg / fruit packaging mostly transparent in colour

most common thing is packaging to fill out boxes..
as it's light and it can take dents.. yet still protect things.
it's used also for packing fish =)
