I wear both, but when doing some of the house work I remove my engagement ring. So that I dont damage the stones or scratch surfaces.

I wore both for about a year. Then I stopped wearing the engagement ring everywhere because the diamond became loose and that scared me. Now I just wear the wedding band, and occasionally the engagement ring. But my wedding band has diamonds so I still have sparkle ;) The diamonds are smaller so Im not as worried if something happens. Some girls I know wear both all the time, though. I guess it just depends on what you want to do and how practical your rings are.

YOu wear them both. When you walk down the aisle you slip off your wedding band and put it on the other hand. When your new husband slips your wedding band onto your finger, you place the engagement ring on top of it.
Gosh engagement rings are too expensive to stop wearing once you are married. You wear the two of them together for the rest of your lives. You can even get an anniversary or eternity ring to wear on top of it.

Most women I know wear both. But, some don't like the feel of that much jewelry, or are concerned that the more expensive engagement ring might get stolen or lost, or they're afraid the stone will come loose. I'm solving all this by using only one ring. The ring my fiance gave me for our engagement is a family heirloom, and it's already a band style, so it will do double-duty as an engagement and wedding ring.

Two common options: 1. Wear your wedding band and engagement ring on the same finger or 2. Move your engagement ring to your right hand and wear the wedding band on your left ring finger.

I wear both. I took my engagement ring off when we had the wedding ceremony, and put it on again afterwards. I believe that once my husband has put the wedding ring on my finger it should stay there, but I might need to remove my engagement ring to stop it getting dirty and the like.

I got married 3 months ago and had to have a handmade wedding ring cut specially so I can wear my engagement ring with it, because my engagement ring is an unusual shape. Lots of women wear an eternity ring with them too.

It is your choice, but most people wear both. Sometimes, if I am going to be out cleaning car or something, I will leave engagement ring at home. But not often. You wear the band closer to your hand (symbolic of being closer to your heart), then the engagement ring after you are married.

The wedding band goes on before the engagement ring so it's closest to your heart. so, before the ceremony, move your engagement ring to your right hand. Once the wedding band is in place, move the engagement ring back over to your left hand.
