Check with the Patient INformation Leaflet inside each pack of medicine.

Ibuprofen can affect the gastric mucosa, the stomach lining, per se. Alcohol can also do the same.

Paracetamol is safe in normal doses but it can affect the liver in high doses.

Drink could make both these side-effects worse. If you are only having these medicines for a short while, then give alcohol a miss. DO NOT INDULGE in seasonal binge drinking or your stomach and liver will left you know about it.
DO the driving from parties for a few days instead.

If you need tablets for longer than a few days , you must discuss this with your GP.

I have had a drink as well as taking Ibuprofen in the past, but I probably wouldn't do so now. Drinking whilst taking some tablets is supposed to put added strain on your liver. Keep doing this and you could end up with liver problems.

well the concern here is because alcohol increases the toxicity of paracetamol. it has sumthing to do with the enzymes in the liver that breakdown paracetamol to atoxic compound. and this enzymes' activity is enhanced by alcohol. but it depends on how much alcohol and how much paracetamol u take. the toxicity includes liver failure and its consequences
