OKAY, I have been getting blonde highlights for the past 4 years. About two weeks ago I decided to dye it back to my natural color, brown. well it turned kind of a green-brown color. Now the green has faded away completely but the color isn't right at all. I want it darker, but if I dye it over top of this brown, will it turn greet again. I bought a "havannah brown" or medium brown color! HELP! PLEASE!

sounds like you may have gone from a warm color to a cool color. After you've dyed your hair one color tone (cool or warm) and you want to change the color to something drastically different, then you want to go with the same tone, for example, if you used a warm blonde, then you'd want to use a warm brown (something with reds in it instead of something with blues in it).

If it were me and I was feeling brave, I'd go back and get the same brand dye as the origninal color and get a warm medium brown--something with Amber, Caramel or Golden in the name.

Since you've already turned your hair green once. I'd go on in to the beauty salon for some professional color correction.

I think you should go to the hairdressers and have your hair professionally dyed. They're experts and they'll know what to do so it won't go wrong.
