I would NOT suggest that method of cooking a Prime Rib......with such a regal piece of beef, simple is the best......Oven roasting is the best method (and I've roasted hundreds of Prime Ribs with success on all of them, well, except the time I did an 8 bone Prime Rib, my timing was off by about an hour, miscalculated the timing, YES even professionals screw up at times.....) If you want my recipe for Prime Rib, pls email me at my 360 profile page......5 ingredients.........That's it......Let me know.......At the price of a 4 bone Prime Rib, don't waste it by deep frying it......Trust me on this one!!! Enjoy!!

My lord Child! at $40 a throw why would you mess with success. Just follow the directions and roast it nicely medium rare! Prime rib is such a succulent delight when its done right that I cant imagine anyone doing that to it.

No...But I would imagine it would be about the same as deep frying a turkey breast. I don't know...pretty expensive cut of meat. Try some Brisket or something less valuable first. That is what I would do anyway.

But if you succeed, please e-mail me and let me know how it came out.

Christopher, that's what makes you more pro, make mistakes and learn by them. Keep on chuggin!!
