Does your religion forbid dance offs?

What if someone challenges you, should you walk away?

My religion loves these sorts of festivals.....we smoke buddha, put on a good track and dance for 9 days and 9 nights. Those who are pure of heart get to see the dancing guru after this event, he is sent down from the 'Disco' on a great shiny disco ball and grants you one special wish. If you wish to be the best dancer ever, he takes you to the land from which there is no return. You must always face a challenge, otherwise the dancing guru will remove all traces of rhythm you may have once had.

One generation ago our churches condemned Dancing as ungodly. We said churches should not be involved in this. We shunned the churches that did these things.

Today the same churches that allowed dancing have women and homosexual pastors, stopped preaching about the blood of Jesus for salvation, and are dwindling in numbers every year.

Wisdom is known by the fruit of her children.

Dancing is not a Christian activity. The dancing to use to worship the Lord as mentioned in the Old Testament, and the dancing I have seen to 'glorify the Lord' at events I attend cannot be the same thing.

I agree with realchurchhistorian.

The only person you will "ever" have the "right" to dance with, is your spouse--b/f, g/f don't count.

My religion says life is good... and we do well to celebrate it.

Eat, drink, and be merry!
(pretty sure dancing is covered under the "merry" part *grin*)
