jolly ....?
Is there a certain weight requirement to be "jolly"?

I am finding it very difficult to be jolly when I am freezing my a.s.s. off and it gets dark outside at 5 pm each night....

Thoughts ...?

I think Jolly is over rated.
And I certainly don't meet the weight requirements at 98 lbs now do I?

Maybe think of it as a pep rally type song. It's cold and dark here, and falalala la is almost jolly.

I think that to be jolly is more of a........state of mind. lol. If your mind isn't in any state (like when doing what Brandon said) you will be pretty jolly no matter how much you way. lol

Hey, add working retail to that list and see just how jolly you feel by midnight every night. Damn, but its cold here in Alberta!

I'm freaking JOLLY all the time, even if for no reason at all. HOW FREAKY IS THAT?

Yeah, I've got a touch of S.A.D. as well (Seasonal Affective Disorder).
I take care of that by reminding my wife that her birthday is the longest NIGHT of the year (12/21).
(insert 70s funk here)

Have a great night, if possible!

Winter can be a pain but it makes you look forward to the spring-it's a yin/yang kind of thing. If you experience something negative, you enjoy the positive more. Ya see?
Besides, I love this season! (eggnog and hot chocolate, bonfires, marshmallows, all kinds of cakes and pies, good reason to 'snuggle' ;-)

Well, my jocularity is often proportionate to my eggnog intake. Does that help?

(Lemur, not everyone has those big eyes to complensate for the darkness, y'know! ;-)
