Girl, these are your magic moments... you are going to shine, BBQ; some hot jeans, maybe a sweet pair of heels you know sexy casual... Shower; I would defiantly go with a screamin dress and again a sweet pair of heels, I mean your getting married, show off a little!!!

As a seven time bridesmaid, this is what I noticed:
1) Rehearsal Dinner - A nice dress. Even if its a BBQ you want to stand out as the bride so a nicer but less formal dress or shirt/skirt combo would be a great idea.
2) Bridal Shower: I noticed this is a very business attire/sunday best type situation for the guests. Most brides that did not have a surprise shower usually wore a mostly white outfit - again to stand out.

For your bridal shower just try a nice dress pant outfit or nice dress, but wear something comfortable. For the rehearsal dinner if you want to do something cute get everyone t-shirts that state their role, like you would wear one with BRIDE on it. That way everyone knows who everyone is and it's kind of silly and cute at the same time.

I would say for the bbq wear a cute sundress with matching flip flops, and for the bridal shower wear a cute skirt with a spaggetti strap top and a casual yet formal button up sweater but only button the bottom half. So cute

my shower was a buffet-style luncheon on a Sunday afternoon in March. I wore a nice faux-wrap 3/4-length sleeve dress, it was chocolate brown with cream + pink polka dots. I wore bronze pointy-toe heels.
for my rehearsal (in April), I wore nice black capris and a nice matte-satiny short-sleeve button down shirt and silver dressy flip-flops (that I had worn a couple times as a bridesmaid).
as the bride, it's OK if you are dressed a little nicer than everyone else. I wanted to wear a dress to the rehearsal, but the dinner was at a pizza place.

My rehearsal dinner was a cookout, we grilled hamburgers, hotdogs...etc. I wore a long sleeve shirt, button up, with jeans and slip on boots and a tiara (my Mom's suggestion). Everyone loved it. My husband wore a long sleeve shirt and jeans and boots.(We had a western theme wedding) Of course, everyone else wore jeans or shorts even. My aunt and uncle hosted it at their house so it was outside. Its really whatever you and your family are comfortable in. If you want to wear jeans, wear them, if you want to dress up a little more then wear khakis or nice dress pants. For both my bridal showers I wore a pant/blouse outfit to one and a dress to the other. One was at a rec center the other at my church.
Good Luck and Congratulations.
Our wedding was in September, so weather permitting outfit of choice.

lets see if the rehearsal dinner is casual then wear jeans and a nice top/sweater, and then for the shower wear a dress that cuts off at like the knee, or a top with a skirt. check out new york and company they have nice choices. :)

For the BBQ rehersal dinner, you can just wear your most comfy and flattering pair of jeans, you can get the "Bride" t-shirt and wear your veil, just to be silly and cute! for the shower, buy a pretty dress or skirt or a cute sweater, do your hair up pretty. good luck!! :)
