If you had a partner that was faithful to you, let you manage all their money, and treated you like a queen/king. Would you be willing to except them telling ALL your business (except sex) to their opposite sex friends(including ex's). Would you be willing to honor your partners view that as long as they give you actions and give them words, and as long as their coming home to you every night it shouldnt matter.....Or would this make you feel like nothing's sacred??

sounds like you have a great guy there!! and he treats you very well in all the important ways...

i think your guy is really proud of you, and is in love with you and when we're in love thats all we do, chat and talk about our partners with our friends!

im sure its harmless banter and you are such an important part of his world that you enter his conversations with other...

chatting with his ex - i wouldnt be too keen on but i talk bout my guy with friends all the time...

if it bothers you lots then let him know...tell him that you respect privacy and would like to keep some things inside the bounds of your relationship...im sure he will respect that...

of course there is a sacred bond between 2 partners.. you share everything and are close...let your guy know whats okay and whats not...keep some secrets for just you guys to share! good luck!

I guess the only thing sacred in this relationship is the sex.
You have one thing to be thankful for... "he is faithful to you!". Sometimes it makes up for everything else.
Try this... tell a few of your friends about him. Make him feel the same as you do. I am sure he will understand it then.
If this dont work... dont tell him things you dont want others to know about.

I believe that somethings should not be shared with other people, and that is how our bond stays sacred. If my partner was to share everything I would stop telling them everything, and then our bond would not be as strong I feel.

there is a problem here. because intimacy and closeness is what the person is giving to someone besides you. they treat you great and give you money and only have sex with you but they are giving their emotional connection to others. you should talk about it more. it does matter, because you want to be closer to your partner than anyone else. try to make it happen instead of blaming him. try to learn how to make him want to talk to YOU. i recommend reflective listening or marshall rosenberg's nonviolent communication practice.

No, they have to respect what should be kept between the two of you. It's not 100% up to them to set the boundaries.
