Seems very murdeous to me and Allah is getting the humans to go on a killing spree.
When I read the responses, I could see that the answers are full of excuses for wonton killings.
This Allah wishes to get humans to do barbarious.

ALL YOUR QUOTES ARE WRONG
Actual
9:5 But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.
9:29 Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Apostle, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.
8:39 And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily Allah doth see all that they do.
9:14 Fight them, and Allah will punish them by your hands, cover them with shame, help you (to victory) over them, heal the breasts of Believers,
And your quoting it out of reference. These revelations were revealed when Muhammad and his followers were going on a war so these quotes r for that specific time...and funny how u put (the whole world) in parenthesis just ot spice it up and make it sound more evil. And ur mismatching quotes..first u quote from 9"29 and than from 8:39 and than from 9:14...there is no order in it so its a pretty lame way to throw dirt on islam!
get a life and worry about your own man made religion

the says you've just said are out of contest so here are the true whole verses:
In the Name Of Allah
". But when the forbidden months are past, then fight and slay the Pagans wherever ye find them, an seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practise regular charity, then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful." 9:5
this verse talks abt the the war is forbiddened at some months of the year... so Islam is the religion of peace even if pagant attacked you on those months you shouldnt attack defend yourself and all the quran says that muslims should never fight another beeings unless it's for defending themselves....
"Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued" 9:29
this verse mean that you should not fight the beleivers who r "christians and jews" only the non believers and even those you should not fight them only if they do not pay the tax and because if they dont that mean that they arent willing to live peacfully in the Muslim country and by the way nowadays this Tax is not payed....
"And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily Allah doth see all that they do. " 8:39
I dont see how this verse is hateful and by the way beleiving in Allah means believing that there's a creator for this world beleiving that there is God like any other religion so all other religions to Islam are beleivers
"Fight them, and Allah will punish them by your hands, cover them with shame, help you (to victory) over them, heal the breasts of Believers" 9:14
Again this verse is abt God helping his messenger there's no hate abt that and it's abt God helping his messenger defend himself and his followers against the attacks of the real racist people who dont accept ppl that are different of them and dont believe of the freedom of religion....
That's It hope i didnt bore you
Peace Be upon You..

All either taken out of context i.e. you have to read what's before or apply to a certain situation that happened during the time of the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. This question has been asked and answered so many times already. Try the search feature you might find what you are looking for without asking.

Well, to start with, you have quoted the incomplete verses. Had you quoted the full verses more than half of the readers would have accepted Islam. Your intention is clear but remember you will never be able to achieve success in your mission. God is with truth. God has choosen Islam for the whole of mankind. May God have mercy on you poor soul and guide you on the straight path. Amen

These verses you quoted where instructions sent down to the prophet(saw) during the time when he and his companions where being harassed killed and attacked.
They where given permission by God to start fighting for themselves and their religion.
And they did just that, they followed those verses and Islam became the religion it is today.
The Muslims where in Medina and left the city of makka but the pagans wouldn't leave them alone instead they waged war against the small faithfull muslims who had to fight back to defend their religion.
Now would I go and fight my fellow non muslims, of course not.
however, we do believe in these verses and they are in our Book. and accordingly will act upon them if the need comes.
satisfied??
I know you people will keep picking the verses that you see as offensive from the Qur'aan and leave the verses that talk about peace, humanity and living in harmony. so
peace out.

Well you left out a great big chunk that very well explains the information you are looking for. Why leave out the answer to your question just to quote what you think is evil and hate-filled?
9:4 But excepted shall be -from among those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God - [people] with whom you [O believers] have made a covenant and who thereafter have in no wise failed to fulfil their obligations towards you, and neither have aided anyone against you: observe, then, your covenant with them until the end of the term agreed with them. Verily, God loves those who are conscious of Him.
-Here it's stating that keep your peace treaties with those who have maintained the peace treaties (ie not attacked you).
9:5 And so, when the sacred months are over, slay those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God wherever you may come upon them, and take them captive, and besiege them, and lie in wait for them at every conceivable place! Yet if they repent, and take to prayer, and render the purifying dues, let them go their way: for, behold, God is much forgiving, a dispenser of grace.
-But for the rest (those who did NOT keep the peace treaty and attack you), defend yourself and don't be afraid to fight them.
9:6 And if any of those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God seeks thy protection, grant him protection, so that he might [be able to] hear the word of God [from thee]; and thereupon convey him to a place where he can feel secure: this, because they [may be] people who [sin only because they] do not know [the truth].
-If any of the pagans surrender or seek our protection, we give them protection.
9:7 How can there be a league, before Allah and His Messenger, with the Pagans, except those with whom ye made a treaty near the sacred Mosque? As long as these stand true to you, stand ye true to them: for Allah doth love the righteous.
-As long as they keep the treaties, you have to as well.
It's all about keeping peace treaties, not going on a killing spree.
You misquoted 8:39, which says "And fight them on until there is no more tumult or oppression, and there prevail justice and faith in Allah altogether and everywhere; but if they cease, verily Allah doth see all that they do."
-No more tumult (which means riot) or oppression, means fight those who oppress and riot. Don't militaries fight those who oppress and don't police fight those who riot? And yet it says in the very same verse it commands to cease when they cease.
9:12 But if they violate their oaths after their covenant, and taunt you for your Faith,- fight ye the chiefs of Unfaith: for their oaths are nothing to them: that thus they may be restrained.
-Again, if they break the peace treaties, you have full rights to defend yourself.
9:13 Will ye not fight people who violated their oaths, plotted to expel the Messenger, and took the aggressive by being the first (to assault) you? Do ye fear them? Nay, it is Allah Whom ye should more justly fear, if ye believe!
-Fear God more than you fear fighting for yourself and your family and for justice.
9:15 And still the indignation of their hearts. For Allah will turn (in mercy) to whom He will; and Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
-God may still forgive them.
I'm not looking for points (which I honestly doubt you'd give me anyways-most who quote these verses tend to ignore what the Muslims say anyways), but rather to share knowledge and let people know that what they read on websites promoting hatred isn't necessarily the truth. It's easier to go to a website and believe what they say than to do one's own research, but it doesn't help the person at all. It spreads misconceptions and ignorance, and puts more fear and hatred into the hearts of people.
Be a thinker. Learn about the world around you for yourself rather than relying on others to learn it for you. Don't even take my word, open up a Quran and read. You'll find it's not a bit like what the websites preaching hate teach.

Everything you are talking about refers to the time of Muhammad(PBUH*) and refers to wars in those days.

It helps if you read all the passages and not just one line from the whole passage.
Most of what you ask are about wars.
It makes more sense if you tried to read it all. Just a suggestion.
