your uncle needs to see his doctor. have him schedule a colonoscopy. it could be hemmoroids or could be colon cancer. tell him not to wait too long. have him go asap

Tell him to get to a doctor. My brother in law ignored similar symptoms for a year thinking it was just hemorrhoids and was diagnosed with colon cancer. If they had caught it sooner the outcome would have been better. They will probably do a colonoscopy (especially if he is over 50) but tell him that is not as bad as it sounds. The worst part is worrying about getting it done.

You need to take him to an ER because this is a GI bleed and could possibly be life-threatening. LOG OFF and go get yer uncle!

No this is not common! He may need to have a colon check or it could be internal roids. He diffenatly needs to see his Doctor ASAP.

This is not common. He could have something as simple as hemorrhoids or as serious as colon cancer. He needs to get checked by his Dr..

if its bright red blood probably a cut or hemmeroids.. if the blood is mixed in with the stool, dark redish brown , or clotted then may be an ulcer

no it's not common, only if you have Hemroids is it common...so he either has that or it could be something internal...Cancer can cause bleeding from the bowels as well..encourage him to go to the doctor.
