Unless your school has a really long day, scheduling 8 blocks in one day will make each block very short. You will, however be able to take many classes which is an up side, but you may end up with more homework because of shortened classes. 4 period block schedule will make all the classes very long. You will learn alot more then you would in an 8 period day, but it will be about one thing. Having only 4 periods is not good if you get bored easily. I'm ADD so if I had to sit through 2 hours of a class I would be sooooo bored. Hope I helped.

I know its a great idea because I experinced it myself. With the block scheduling as a student you get a better understanding of the subject and the work its self. The instructor isn't rushed and they can take there tie. Also with the block scheduling a student gets more one-on-one help if needed.

i would so the 4 day period, it was easier for me that way you have an extra day to do the homework and you dont have to be in that teachers class everyday it would be every other day. I would know i just graduated from high school this year and our class were like that my whole 4 years.

I am not sure what you mean but when I attended high school we had eight periods per day. Seven classes and one lunch period. If that is what you mean, it worked quite well.
