1) Jesus does NOT mean "Jehovah is Salvation." Jesus in Hebrew is "Yeshua," which simply means Salvation. The Hebrew name "Yĕhowshuwa," which is translated as Joshua, means "Jehovah is Salvation."
2) It is impossible for the Second Coming to take place in 2011. If this were the case, we'd be near the middle of the Tribulation, which lasts 7 years, per Daniel 9:27. Yet, NONE of the Tribulational events prophesied by Jesus, Daniel, Paul and others have taken place. So your position contradicts the Scriptures on several different levels.
EDIT: I just went to your link. You're a follower of that false prophet and heretical teacher, Harold Camping. You should think twice before you preach such bullsh**.

I am a Christian and there is nothing in the Bible that tells the exact day the Rapture will take place. Look in Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angles of heaven, but MY Father only. In the verses above Jesus is speaking about signs of when he is coming again and end with this verse. Where do you believe that the Bible states the world will end 2011?

Oktober 21th 2011 AD is not mentioned anywhere in the Bible. Neither is May 21th 2011 AD.

Exactly where in the bible do you get this date? Hmmm. I have never seen a date like this in the bible. What quote gives it? Or are you just making it up or blindly believing someone? Get the source of your date and give it.
Also, something to consider, there are going to be scores of people calling themselves Jesus come 2011. Yikes. That is going to be a big heyday for the scammers. It will be looked upon as the golden age of scamming. When the fleecing of the rubes was the easiest it had ever been.

Dear Friend,
I am not ready to meet the living God, because i should not trust the works that i do.
I can read the Bible, i can get out of the churches because the Bible teaches that Satan is in every churches and local congregations throughout the whole world, as we read in Matthew 24:15-16, i can have a very decent moral life,
a) I can have an ongoing desire to do the will of God,
b) I can obey all the commandments in the Bible,
c) Ican beg for mercy on me but i should not trust any work that i do. Nobody is saved by the works of the law.
d) Repentance and Faith is also a work.
The things that i have to do are: keeping reading the Bible, studying the Bible, begging for mercy, praying for obedience, share the Gospel with others. Salvation is entirely God´s action, as we read in Romans 9:16:
Verse 16:" So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that showeth mercy."
Jonah 3:9: " who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?
Eventhough God is very merciful, i should not think for a moment in trusting the works that i do are result of being saved.
I rest everything with the Lord, perhaps he will save me.
May God have mercy on us.

I believe in God, and in Jesus... but I do not heed false prophets, nor view the Bible in any way except for what it is; a theo-litterary work.
According to the Roman calendar, Armageddon and the Last Judgement should have happened almost 10 YEARS AGO.
Regarding the end of the world, I will believe what Jesus said:
"But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father."

I notion the arena is meant to finish Dec 22 2012 in step with the mayan calender! BUT I truthfully feel your loopy for believing that! I do not feel the arena goes to finish whenever quickly(no longer in 2011 or 2012)...however what a well method to feel so you'll rape the arena of its usual assets and forget about international warming! The global goes to finish quickly Why the hell will have to we christians care????? YOU will have to seeing that come 2011 you'll be right here!

You have totally ignored where it says No man knows the time.
It is impossible to know the day and hour.
Do you think that someone, somewhere has actually found a way to outwit God, and discover what He said no one would know?
Edit: Okay, I looked back at the author, this guy I have heard on the radio, and I can tell you right now, he is way off the wall. His theology is chock full of speculation regarding the church, and the end times. This is pretty common among the off the wall types. That's about all he talks about, always bringing it up. Unbalanced.

OMG.....not another dooms day,
I remember when I was 5 and my Dad would scare the crap out of us, that was 40 years ago and guess what we are all still here.
FYI.........William Darby made up the rapture in the 1800's, it's not even mentioned in the Bible!

Forget that 2011 malarkey. No one knows when the end will be, not even Jesus. In the Bible, Jeus said, "only the Father knows the day and the hour....".
