I support immigration to a degree. What if an illegal immigrant came in the country from Mexico b/c he had to support his faimly and couldnt afford a VISA at the time, nor could he wait for the time it took to recieve one.
he came here and paid his taxes, good citizen, went and learned English, got his High School diploma and enrolled in a college? Would that upset you or please you?
Im trying to understand everyone's pointof views on immigration. What is it that bothers you?? I hear b/c they down pay taxes, they take advantage of our legal system, they dont speak english, they arent educated.....so what is it that bothers you as an individual?
Thanks for your time!

This person paid for his GED. He paid a private tutor for English too. He didnt use free resources. Also, to everyone who is so against the "Illegals." then start growing your own food and so on. Because those criminals are the ones who are working our farms.

It is ashame they are takeing all these American's jobs. Because I know that it is every American's dream to work at Wendy's and mow grass! So I get your points. I also agree about the whole health care, thats true. I dont like that either.

Mexico and other Latin American countries are very corrupt. It actually cost more for someone to cross the border illegally then legally! Mexico has the right to refuse you rVISA for whatever reason they choose and not return your money. It's a major fight down there. A VISA costs like a little over 2K and to cross the border illegally costs a lot more. I know it's hard to believe but it's true. The goverment officials of Mexico are so corrupt, they can do whatever they like and claim you never sent an application, keep the money and do whatever their heart's desire. If they see you have a lot of money, they can take you rpossesions if they please. Other countries arent treating their people that way, thats why they dont have all these problems! Grow a heart and NEVER judge someone till you have walked in their shoes!

Illegals don't pay taxes because they cant get a legal job and instead are paid under the table. Unless they happen to steal someones identity so they can get a job.
Either way no I don't feel sorry for him. He should still be deported and I wouldn't let him keep any money he had either. That would go to pay for all his back taxes that he probably owes.
Those jobs they take that "No American wants" are high school jobs. Most of us in here probably worked in stores and restaurants at some point. They are jobs that kids use to earn enough money for their 1st car and saving up for college.

I would be happy for him that he spent his time here making changes in his life and hope that he saved his money while he was here.
I would also want him deported once he got caught.
My problem is not with the illegal aliens who come here to fix problems in their lives. I don't know that I wouldn't do the same thing if I lived in a 3rd world country.
My problem is only with the politicians who refuse to tackle this serious economic problem on the side of the people they are supposed to represent and the traitors who hire the illegal aliens.
They are the ones who cause people to look at our border as a place where they can fix their problems.

First of all I am all for immigration whether it is legal or not. It bothers me that they are trying to deport all Mexicans that are not legal, they don't stop to think that the illegal immigrants are the ones that work in the fields from sunrise to sun down in the hot summer days that reach 100 degrees and also in the very cold fall days. They also have their growing families, children that are American citizens if they were born here, most likely a lot of them were born here. So when you deport their parents and they have to leave to, the government is robbing them of their rights as an American citizen. If it is true that illegals are taking our jobs like alot of the state representatives or whatever they are say, I would really like to see them out there for a whole week in the muddy fields working in the very hot weather and then we'll see who supports immigration and I know for sure they would not be able to handle it for a whole week without quiting or calling off a day.

He broke the law. He knew that if he was caught, he would pay the price, and he will pay the price.
The moral of the story is.. don't break the law.
But there is something else here.. Mexico is short of manpower. They are having to pull people in from the Central American countries to do jobs in Mexico. He didn't need to come here to make a living.. he could have done it there. Further... and it is important to Americans while obviously you don't care.... he took a job that should have gone to an American.
Lets make another point on this issue... if anyone stays in this country for an extended period of time, they have to..... they HAVE TO get a fake I.D. That is a felony offense. So the first Immigration offense turns into a felony offense, and there is little doubt that there are a couple of more he is guilty of.
======================
Go HOME.... go home and break the laws in your own country.

America's own people have stolen from the government during times of natural disasters. (link 1) We also took advantage of each other and any one around that was affected by this disaster. (link 2) Even after our great country was attacked, people and businesses manages to profit on the ill luck and losses of others. (link 3) But when a man uses his own God as a shield for his profiting, we have sunk to the lowest possible point in human nature. (link 4) I can agree illegal or not stealing from the center that is there to help others is a bad thing. But have we not seen looting and rioting during other times of disaster not to mention after a championship game. (link 5)

Honestly i can say I'm for immigration. I don't see why everyone is complaining about this. The land we live in today was not our land it was the Indians till we started concurring it. our ant sisters were all immigrants if you think about it. Because they came from Britain to get away from that chained up life they had they came in search for a better life. plus we could not have gotten this country up an running if it weren't for those working immigrants that traveled to this land to work it. To be honest they deserve all they get because we the citizens of this country have become very lazy with all the technology. They sweat out in the sun for there hard labor while we have it easy inside a building when is are ppl going to stop being selfish. We too have help for are college education that you dont look for it is your situation. I can say that they struggle a lot more that we do even if you all don't see it. I was born here in the U.S my family too but to really see how they suffer you have to put yourselfs in there shoes.

Well, what about a person that came into a bank and rob the bank and the reason for robing the bank was that he didn't have a job because the same illegals in your story stole his job and now he can't support his family. The question is do you support the Bank robber, he just broke the law for the same reasons, don't you think. Wrong is wrong, period.

That would bother me. There is no inherent right for anyone to come here. Not being able to get a Visa is not a valid reason to break the law. Every country on the planet has a limit on the number of people who enter. Why should ours be any different?
We have finite resources. We cannot take in every person in the world. At some point, other countries have to fix their own problems instead of exporting them to us.
It's not necessary to try to address every single illegal immigrant you can think of - that's why we have an immigration court. The fact remains that the weight of millions of illegals (as high as 38 million and growing) will be our undoing if we don't reverse the tide.
Another huge issue here is overpopulation. Check out tlb's video...it's a little long... but it makes the case against illegal immigration in regards to overpopulation very well.

It upsets me because they don't want to bother to become legal before they do all those things. If being in America is so important to them and their families, then why don't they set a good example for their kids and do it the legal way? That's the only thing that I object to. If they want to be here, they need to go through the proper channels . If they aren't willing to do that, then they have no right to be here.

If he couldn't afford a VISA and didn't want to wait for one- then he has no legal right to be here. If he is not willing to follow the letter of the law to get to this country- chances are he isn't going to blink breaking the rest of the laws in this country. Gee- why wouldn't we want someone like that in our country? ( ha ha)
There are plenty of people that need to support their family what makes your illegal so special- his proximity to our borders- the ease with which he decides to break the law and believe that he deserves the ill begotten fruits of his crimes.
Deport him and make room for people that respect the law.
Deport him.
