Every person is different with the timing of those words. Some guys want sex and other guys truly mean it.
My boyfriend told me he loved me before I felt it as well. I didn't let that get in the way. I stood my ground. I didn't give in. If he respects you he'll back off until you are ready. That's just common sense. If you give in too easily some, and i do mean some, will see it as being easy. Other guys will take the relationship more seriously.
What I've came to realize is when you have sex with someone it makes or breaks the relationship. If you are ready to face the challenges of a sexual relationship go for it. But if you have second thoughts don't jump in. Sex isn't just about pleasure. It takes the emotions to another level. And when it's over it hurts more because you have to live with the fact that he has a part of you that you can't ever get back.

So guys have been told (and women) that if you love some one it is ok in our modern world to have sex out of wedlock. Maybe he loves you but he could be confusing love with lust. If you are not ready tell him that.
I am gay and have a partner so its always out of wedlock for me but I did make sure I absolutely loved this woman before I became "active" with her.
I think if you are not ready don't do it you will regret it and if any one finds out you will be hurt and humiliated if it doesn't work out, and believe me men/boys talk. People will know.

Tell him thank you for loving me. Tell him that you love him too (if you feel it). Tell him that you are not ready to make your relationship physical (in a sexual way), because for you, you need to have a stronger emotional connection to him before making love to him in that way. Tell him you do have an emotional connection to him but you need more time for a stronger emotional connection. Good luck. Happy Holidays.

they say that because it works.
tell him words mean nothing and you have to have time to see what YOUR feelings are. it really doesn't matter if he loves you or not. it's more importanat what you feel and what you do or don't want to do. don't let him pressure you with that crap. tell him if he really loves you he would wait patiently.
