THESE ARE KNOWN AS PAPILLAE. THEY ARE NORMAL PART OF T5HE TONGUE. THEY CAN BE IRRITATED BY AN ACIDIC DIET OR SPICY FOODS.

Hi, could be fever blisters caused by a low grade infection from something you ate, dirty tongue in your mouth, yours or someone else, failure to clean your tongue when you brush, oral herpes, etc.. ALWAYS BRUSH YOUR TONGUE WHEN CLEANING YOUR TEETH, Regular use of mouth wash can be beneficial.
