I dont think that WW3 will ever happen. That is because of nuclear weapons. The US and Russia have so many of them, that any country that attacked either of them (or if they attacked each other) is assured of destruction. The US and Russia have so many nukes, that the entire world can be destroyed several times over, which is known as "Assured Mutual Destruction". Therefore, when people know that they, their family, and their country would certainly be destroyed if they entered into such a way, this generally serves as a pretty good deterrent.

I hope it never comes, but I think the world will end in a short time, look at how far we have come in the past 150 years compared to the thousands before with really little or no advances in technology!

I think it's only a matter of time . Are you sure we aren't there yet ? There is only so much that the government is showing us . As a parent of a US Military Soldier , I worry about the choices that our government make on a day to day bases.

The world will never succumb to nuclear war...we will not go out with a BANG, but a whisper...we are more likely to end when terrorists poison the water.

I think it will all start whenever President Bush is finally out of office, then all these aerob countries that were mad at the U.S. for all sorts of reasons will join up together and plan World War III out against us.

WW3 = dying to all? I heard a statistic the international has sufficient nukes to blow itself up over 20 situations. on condition that lots of countries are gaining nuclear qualifications, its doomsday till we get some emp bombs

I think we are already in it. We are currently in Iraq and Afghanistan, and on the verge of several other countries. I would say were at the start of a never ending battle.
