You have it backwards. Christ came first. We are not replacing the x with Christ. We are putting Christ back where it was in the first place. Someone else replaced Christ with an x because they were lazy and wanted to make it easier. They think that the x stands for a cross which stands for Christ. Most of us prefer to see Christ, not just an x. Thus, we put Christ back into Christmas. Originally the word came from Christ mass or the mass for Christ. It was a Catholic term.
All of your other terms had nothing to do with Christ and the x is just a letter and does not stand for anything else. So if the x is just an x, then it can stay put. But if the x stands for something else, like Christ, then we can replace the x with the thing it stands for, like Christ in this instance.

How young you are!!! I can remember the first time Christ in Christmas was replaced with an "x" and Christians were very upset.

The "x" is young. Even though xray machines were thought of in 1881, they were not in wide use until the 1950's. Xrated movies weren't even thought about in the 1950's. X men are less than 20 years old.

We don't replace the x in xmas with Christ. It is vice versa.

It isn't Christian's who put X in Christmas it would be defiling Christ. We all have our judgement coming for things done in the body for saying & thinking. As for x ray it is something that can be for looking @ the skeletal system but that will kill you if you have to much of it(just like worshipping Satan or Anti-christ) even doing it very little will condemn, xmen is because of faith in men not God, only men can do so much, but God can do all things, especially after we are dead & buried, of either rewarding us for giving Him the Glory & Praise(which is why we were created in the 1st place), xrated because look @ the perversness that comes from not what God made us for anyway, not for our own selfishness or lusts(SIN) lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh & the pride of life. If you want to order something to get drunk on, get a Bible & read about what He calls 1 who drinks wine(winebibber) they will not enter into the Kingdom of God. May God bless you & that you find what you are looking for before its too late.

Interesting spin on an old question. Essentially in Xmas and Xian, the "X" is an old Xian "shorthand" as it represents the Greek letter Chi which is the first letter in "Christos" or Christ. Essentially Xmas and Xian are early Xian terms.

Edit:
Note the number of people that assume that using Xmas or Xian is "non-believers" taking Christ out, when those words are actually Xian in origin. Some people never look for the real truth.

Your first question makes sense and deserves a genuine answer.

Putting a "x" there is disrespectful, and just like any other group on earth, there are words and symbols that are disrespectful, and sometimes hateful. This is one for Christianity.

The rest of your questions imply that you do not desire a real answer, however, and are just being silly.

If peanut oil is made from peanuts, what is baby oil made from?

C'mon. :)

Your questions are not about Christians, they are about the absurdities of the English language.

i can also think What's True About the Letter "X" in Pirates. It is being considered as the sign of the treasures so I think Letter "X" is not bad to be considered as the substitute for Christ....This will just only meant to be the son of the GOD is our Treasure....So I think It is not that bad...But it is our belief......But I do not believe and support both...I just wanted to use the whole word.........MERRY CHRISTMAS......Because it's the perfection of it

Christmas is all about CHRIST. It is a religious holiday, therefore it is frowned upon and offensive for Christians to use, 'x-mas'. It's basically dishonoring Christ.

X-mas is not just an abbreviation, but rather it is the word non-believers in Christ use. To them, "x-mas" is not a religious holiday, but a media holiday and a day to get presents.
