There have been many other saviours...Sun Gods...ect.,
in the books. Thousands of years before the birth of Christ there were many similar stories of men born to a virgin, on Dec. 25, having many deciples , having miracles performed, resurection...ect ect...
here is only one link ..but there are many others I'm sure...

It just makes on really question all the facts in the Bible, when these have been written so many times over the course of history, way before the Birth of Christ.

What I find people are missing is the Holy Spirit, whom Jesus said that He would send to the Earth. He said that the Holy Spirit would be here doing three main things because He wasn't on Earth any longer. The people who don't realize this are typically going to question anything that Jesus actually said, and miss certain things that he said because without the Spirit of God, they cannot value things in the way the Spirit of God guides those who believe are guided.
So to many people there are a plethora of Christs, and many savior figures, they won't know because they are unguided to know.
What is it like to have the Holy Spirit living in us? It's like having a spirit guide. People tend to relate to that American Indian analogy than any other I have experienced, so I use that as an analogy. God's Spirit, who is also called Counselor, the Spirit of Truth, the Spirit of Life; guides us through the Bible and teaches us what it means. Without Him we wouldn't know what to say about what the Bible says.
So because of the Spirit of Truth, who guides those who trust God through life as we trust God, shows us that there is only one Christ, no matter what anyone else claims.

It depends on which story you want to believe. You have a choice in the matter.
Go to any library in any free country and search for some of those saviour legends, count how much information you can find on them. Then search Jesus-you will find more documentation that on any other subject in the library-by a large margin.

What pre-Christ savior legends, pray tell? I don't remember Jesus breaking away from a rock for his birth or slaughtering a bull.
bibliophile: Lazarus, for one.

Jesus Christ teaches that others are going to do works, also.
Read Revelations more and try to understand it. Jesus Christ will send the comforter.
God bless you.

Excellent reasoning! I have read the story of Mithras too, and there are similarities everywhere between that story and the salvation story of Jesus Christ. There is no scientific test to tell which story is true. The only test comes from your soul---if it is not your story then you must find the one that is. Nobody can judge you for not believing in their story---We all have our minds so lets use them.
