well the ps3 has a built in internet browser you can actually surf the web on your tv and the best thing about you can watch youtube.com videos ive had my ps3 since december of 2006 its about 1 year old and no problems it has never frozen or brtoken down on me i have have the 20 gb version ps3 which is no longer in production because it didnt sell very good i can play every ps2 and ps1 game along with 60 gb version which is no longer in production also the 60 gb version the 80 gb version and the 40 gb version all have wifi with the 360 you to buy a network antenna which retails for about 100.00 you say that both the 360 and ps3 can play videos the 360 only plays videos from a source such as a usb flash drive an ipod the problem with is that you can not save the videos to ur harddrive with the ps3 you can save videos to ur harddrive becasuse the the ps3 uses a notebook harddrive which lets you watch videos thast arer saved also you rip music with the ps3 it evens automatically names the songs for because of its internet browser photos are the same you can even save photos from the internet from the internet and use it as a background also a regulart dvd can be upconverted because of its built in blu-ray drive which also lets u watch blu-ray disc it depends what you like me personially i like ps3 more because its more of a computer
and i like the interney browser and yes the 360 breaks alot my 360 since november 2006 when it was launch has broken down 4 times last time it was repaired was in august of this year and so far its working fine my opinion the ps3 its the best offer becuse of all the things it does rather the 360 only plays games

360 does NOT come with rechargable controllers ( buy seperately)
PS3 does come with rechargable controllers
360 has limited just updated music and av formats
PS3 is way ahead on that including supporting and watching flash video, play flash and java games etc that you find surfing the net on the ps3.

360 games are on 8gig dvds ( not much space for hd graphic and hd sound files so actaul game size , levels are smaller example ..Halo 3 takes an afternoon to beat.) To watch hddvd movies require the purchase of the seperate hddvd drive for $189)
Ps3 games are on 50 gig blueray great graphics and game physics without sacrificing game size, ratchet and clank ftod over 22gigs of gaming on the disc. The fact that you can also watch hd blueray movies on the ps3 is an added bonus.
Dollar for dollar the PS3 is all that and a bag chips. The 360 well it was a great system to get in 2005 to keep us busy while waiting the for the Wii innovations and PS3 experience.
Reliability. Microsoft is getting slammed by lawsuits regarding the dvd reader scratching discs and for teh notorious red ring of death issues.
Ps3 well it's like that the battery bunny, It keeps going....

The PS3 for sure. The Xbox 360 is "now" but the PS3 is the "future". And year 2008 will begin Sony's journey back to the top of the gaming industry. Plus the PS3 is more reliable and it has the longest life span.

Hands down - PS3. Before bying it I thought of getting either PS3 or 360. So I'd made my little web-search and asked a couple of salesman, saw it personally on shop stands. Now I own a PS3, not a 360.

Simple way to put this to rest:
If you want good quality GAMES, the 360 has more good to great games than the PS3
If you're looking for more bells and whistles (free online, blu-ray player, accessories) then the PS3 hands down.
Personally I use my game system only to play games, I prefer the 360.
