In fact, Chrysler is factory-installing 17" rims on the DR/DC/DI/DN-2500/3500. The stock-upgrade rims for the 3/4-ton, viz., as factory-installed on the 2003-present DR/DC/DM-2500, are the ones to go for, as they have the correct width and offset for the 1994-2002 BR/BE-2500--I tested a set on a '98 and they were deep enough to properly enshroud the rear brake drums. The 17's are designed for LT265/70SR17 tires (cf. LT245/75R16 for your original rims), Load Range E.
