my mom is letting me get pink streaks i my hair, and i get henna tattoos. i dont dress like this every day but i love this look as long as i dont go over board. how do i convince my mom to let me pierce my belly button? thanks.

I don't know anyone that would be allowed to get their belly button pierced at 13, so i think your mum is being reasonable. Maybe just wait a few years, as your stomach is still growing anyway, and I had my belly pierced but it got infected and broke anyway, leaving me with a scar, so think about it.

i agree with everyone else...13 is too young to get piercings...other than ears.....i dont know any piercer that would pierce many underage people much less a 13 year old....there are other ways you can "stand out" or have your own style without getting piercings...you will have plenty of time when youre older to get tattoos and piercings...enjoy being 13 for now!!! listen to your mom and be thankful she lets you do the things she does..not a lot of parents would let their 13 year old daughter dye their hair....esp. pink streaks...! :o)

honestly im 18 and i would wait to get my belly button pierced if i were you. i mean its not like its really painful but once you get it you find that its not so great. you have to clean it twice a day for like 6 months which is a pain in the butt. and seriously i got mine when i was 17 and the excitement of it wears off. i got it, as soon as i could stop cleaning it, i forgot about it.

But I agree with everyone else, your too young. No GOOD piercer would pierce a 13 year old. Even with parental consent.

ur not gonna get a new look by piercing ur bellybutton.... definitely change ur hair and try to change up ur wardrobe like belts, bags and accessories
