Hey guys! Thanks for taking time to look at my question because I am really so confused. I have been on birth control for a solid 7 years and NEVER missed a period I have switched pills before from ortho to yaz when I had insurance and had my period on time then when I didn't have insurance I went to the clinic and got ortho again and now i've switched back to yaz again. Except this time I am two weeks into my second pack and I've still had no period. I don't take it like I should I miss then make up the next night. My boyfriend and I have unprotected sex except the past couple times he hasn't pulled out. the 24th, the 30th, and the 2nd. My period was due on the 21st. I took a test on the 30th and today and they were negative. But this last test th line in the control window was to the left and barely showing past the plastic. I don't know. Has this happened to anyone and they have still been pregnant? How much is a blood test at the health department?

These things are often hard to tell. Since you have switched so much and have had unprotected sex, I don't doubt you might be pregnant. There's still that one percent of women who get pregnant even on their birth control the correct way. You aren't taking it right anyways. Try taking another pregnancy test in the morning when you first wake up. Or you can go to the clinic and get one, they are really professional and accurate. The health department in my state offers free services to people of certain income, or free pregnancy testing in general. You should call your state government offices to get information.

Stressing won't make it better. Sometimes we are late. But it is scary, I know. Be aware that missing just one pill can decrease it effectiveness even if you make it up later.

A blood test should cost little or nothing at the health department depending on your financial status.

stop all pills the switching back and forth is your problem. pick one and use only it. going back and forth is screwing with your hormone levels stop the pills see your doctor and once you have a period and are cleared for pregnancy go back on and use condoms birth control doesnt prevent stds

personally we use ortho options, never failed 5 years running. My wife runs late and early all the time, I wouldn't worry.
