This is about faith. What do you have faith in? What do you do to keep your faith alive, strong, growing? Well, that's two questions, but you get my drift. Thanks for your sharings.
I have faith that believers and non-believers will give their best answers here! Blessings :)

This is not a trick Q. Faith: The ability to believe in that which is not seen. This is not about religion. Do you have faith when you get in the car to drive, go to sleep expecting to wake, etc. (for 'non-believers'), what keeps your faith strong? This is NOT about beliefs. How we all get through this human earthly life is based on faith, it seems to me. Faith that others won't run into our cars, faith we will wake in the morning, etc. What builds and strengthens the faith you do have and how do you describe that faith??? This is for religious folks and non-believers too. You have faith your eyes work to read this question.......

I put my faith and trust in the love and mercy of the one true God.

I have faith in the covenant of the New Testament for forgiveness of sin and salvation of the eternal soul thru God's Son, Jesus.

What do I do to keep my faith "alive, strong, growing"? Prayer. Study the Word of God. Witness. Fellowship with other faithful.

- I have faith in Life, more precisely in Universal Life (I am a fan of astronomy);

I have faith that other intelligent life forms exist in the Universe (but I don't trust any data about UFOs and Aliens. I only trust my self - my faith - and the scientists specialised in exobiology).

- I focus on life in all its forms, on my Planet (Earth - lol), and I regularly imagine what kind of life forms may exist elsewhere, on other planets/satellites, in other stellar systems, galaxies, universes (who knows...)

The first proof of non-earthly life will make my "faith" grow a lot. I will feel very happy about such a news.

I do know there is no proof yet but I do believe that there are various non-earthly life forms, that there are many civilisations and among them, humanlike civilisations.

This is belief and my faith.

There is no dogma for my belief, it is quite simple. I don't need anyone to share the same ideas as mine.

---

I am an Atheist (i.e. I don't believe in the concept of "gods" and I don't belong to any religious/spiritual stream).

I am an Atheist and I have "faith" in Life. Simply.

I live in Europe, and "faith" also has a non-religious meaning. I am not sure if it is the same in the USA (only religious meaning). I don't know another word for "non-religious faith".

I believe in God the father and Jesus the son. I do not believe that it is my place as a Christian to be dictator of the world nor that I should hate anyone who believes or lives differently than I do. Jesus would not have done that. I pray a lot and read the bible. I'm not your typical Southern Holy Roller. Thank the Lord. I also realize that God gave me this thing called freewill which allows me to think and make my own intelligent decisions on things.I am not one of these Christains who think dinosaurs did not exist or that the earth was actually created in seven days. I mean if the earth was not yet created there was no real standard measurement of a day. A day to God may be who knows how long. I believe that some how science and creationism mix. I just have not yet figured out how.

I have faith in God and Jesus his son who died on the cross for my sins. I have faith that he will guide my steps in life and that he is helping through every step that I take. I have faith that I should not fear because whatever happens God will help me through it whether it be good or bad. I believe there is a reason for everything even if I don't understand what that is.

To keep my faith strong, I read the Bible daily(almost always), I go to Church on Sundays, I pray daily, I try to always surrender my life to God and his will.

My faith is in God, that he will bring to pass all the promises that he makes to his children in my life time. I also have faith in myself to continue to strive to make nessasary changes for the better. My faith comes alive in my belief in the promises Christ even gave to his followers in God. When I pray or study his word it is with an expectation he will answer and he does by and by. The more I listen to the words of God as taught and read it just keeps me moving along. May you be blessed also.

I'm a non-believer in God/s and religion.

What keeps my (lack of) faith alive, strong, and growing? The more I learn about religions (especially Christianity because that's the primary religion of my country, the US) and the more I hear people talk about it and more I think deeply about the things I learn and hear about it.... the more I become absolutely convinced that religious beliefs aren't real.

For me, hearing people talk about religion is like hearing people talk about The Lord of the Rings trilogy and having them actually believing the stories are real.

I have faith in god & his word, The Holy Ghost is what keeps my faith alive & strong & growing. I will say that every Christain will have times of feeling lonely, But we are not alone. There was a man that walked on the seashores, when things was going good he saw 2 sets of footprints in the sand, But when a test & trial came, this man looked down and only saw one set of footprints, he then ask God why have you left me, God said I have not left you, When you only saw one set of footprints that was my footprint, because I was carrying you through your test & trials.
