Why would a god prefer humans to believe blindly in him,
and not prefer people who argue, seek evidence before believing in something ?

Does he prefer innocent/stupid/naive/ people ?

If god doesnt care if we believe or not,
why say he is answering prayers,
but letting millions of people despair of knowing if he exists or not, if he is listening to them or not ?

it looks like another proof of god non-existence ?

Ahh...this is fun...

Indeed there can not be any "proof" of god non-existence (how could we check every corner of the universe to check if a god is hiding there? ). Only strong probability.
There could be a proof of Her existence - if god was showing itself to people for example.

"Does he prefer innocent/stupid/naive/ people ?"
Apparently so.

"Does God need our faith to survive?"
Absolutely. Faith seems to be the willingness to await the evidence, while condemning others for not having it. Without 'faith', the concept of god would surely vanish.

That sounds so stupid. God would vanish without human faith? And where were you when the universe came into being? Surely you must know the details?

Since humans live in such a small finite existence and know so little about anything, it only seems plausible that they must have faith rather than knowledge.

'It looks like another proof of god non-existence" Huh? Where's the proof? Lame at best.

Well i don't know who you have been talking to or what you have been reading but The GOD that I know and worship encourages questions and use of your reason. Have you ever read the Book of The Psalms of David? Dude! It is chock full of the questions of a king that relied on God for guidance and was at odds with what was going on. In the Books of 1 & 2 Samuel, you can see the sturggles that he faced and how he cried out to God and even God's replies. Jeremiah was a Prophet that screamed, God Why have you shone me these things? Argh! You even have His reply and then Jeremiah's resolve. Habakkuk, and Micah, also, have the same type of question and answer time. Job, was full of questions.

My friend, HE is not the one that is questioning. It is all those that refuse to believe in Him that are in true despair. He is constantly reaching and calling out to them. They are the ones that just keep smacking away the hand of help, knowledge, wisdom and Truth. Just because YOU feel that He does not exsist, does not make it true. A reality is something that IS REAL whether we chose to believe it or not.

God Bless you and guide you into all TRUTH.

Thomas Aquinas wrote in the Summa Theologica that God's intent is beyond the understanding of men. St. Thomas tells us that men look at the world from the perspective of men, and when we do that we are puzzled due to the limitation of men. Faith is faith. If God does not exist, then all that we fight about is foolish because it is a wasted fight. If God does exist he will triumph overall so we must not worry about day to day petty arguments waged by beings with no more understanding of God's will than say the birds of the sky or the beasts of the field. Free will is why God lets us discover his truth for us alone, if he made us believe we would be nothing more than puppets but when one learns faith through prayer and submittance to God's will then we achieve salvation.

God does not need faith....it would be nice but not required.
God would prefer people use the mind it gave us instead of just blindly following what some other guy says because he wears a funny hat.

In my way of thinking God is waiting for humanity to evolve to the point where we might be able to understand God.

Ok, when understanding religion and spirituality, one must first understand (especially the three Abrahamic faiths of Judaism, Christianity and Islam) to be that of "faith-based" religions. It is the belief in the unseen deity of G-d and they are faiths shrouded in mystery.

There will always be argument between those who look to science for answers concerning creation and those who look to G-d for the same answers, as the answers are based on entirely different premsises.

What it really comes down to, especially in American society when considering the basis of our principle beliefs as Americans, is a mutual respect for our right to believe or not believe. It's about our patriotic pride of the Constitution that we can worship as we see fit, even if it's in absence of said belief or an alternative belief to a faith-based religion.

Once we realize that America is fundamentally beautiful because people are free to believe according to their own terms WITHOUT trying to force such personal, inarguable points upon others within our society and start focusing on aspects of our culture and country that truly need attention instead of arguing whether G-d exists or not, we will find that our ability to stand together united in the principle belief that people are born free here and make real change for the betterment of our society becomes an attainable reality.

God does not need our faith to survive. We need Him to survive.

I do not think he prefers people who blindly follow. He does expect you to put effort into a relationship with him. He expects you to approach Him with respect and pray and study the Bible with an open mind. You may not find Him without opening your mind.

Does he prefer innocent /stupid/ naive people? In my opinion all people fit into this category in one way or another.

Why does he let people despair if He exists and if He is listening?
He gives us what we need to communicate with Him.
But will you take the time and effort to find Him or just come on YA and bad mouth Him?

God doesn't need anything from people to survive. God wants us to put our faith in Him and follow where He sends us. God gives us evidence about Himself in the Bible and in the testimony of other believers. Believing in God is a freewill choice. God does care that we believe in him and does answer pray. God gives us all the knowledge we need to believe in Him. The millions of people that don't believe in God, that is their choice not to believe. The only "proof" that God doesn't exist is in your head.

In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God. God's great Love compelled Him to create. He created us with a free will, what we choose to do with that free will is up to us. Faith is a gift it can be accepted or rejected.
He doesn't need us, but we need God.

NO.
God does not expect you to believe blindly.
Seek first the kingdom of God and many questions will be answered. A sincere seeker will receive sincere answers.
Those who seek with egotistical motives will receive accordingly.
God gives you free will to choose. Choose wisely. Poor choices will reap poor results.

I think God is the pure essence of love. Therefore, God would exist only as long as love exists. I think God does not 'care' what we think because love cannot care about anything like that. If you are loved, then you are loved, whatever your religious beliefs are, whether they even include belief in a supreme being or not. The proof that God exists is the fact that love exists.
