I have a problem with anyone that lies so that they may profit.

Just because you don't agree with what someone says, that doesn't mean they are lying.

Not really. But I do have a problem with religious people trying to legislate based on their own version of religion. I do have a problem with the drug companies and their budgets placing drug ads on TV, directly marketing to the consumer. On top of that, drug reps that go into doctors office trying to get them to prescribe more drugs.

I was over for lunch at another physicians office (I am a chiropractor and don't prescribe drugs) and some drug reps were trying to pressure them into prescribing more of their erectile dysfunction drug (Cialis I think). This goes on every day, and the public pays for it when the side effects come out.

Actually, yes I do. It does not go with what the Bible teaches and it gives the Truth a very bad name and image. The examples of the way Christ worked should always be our example yet too many people are looking to steal the glory form Him and gain it for themselves and their pockets. It is a shame.

God Bless

I definitely do.

They should all be brought up on charges of false advertising.

That is the big difference between Atheists and many Theists. The Atheist abhores lies even when they bolster a belief system, many theists readily accept lies that help them bolster belief.

Yes I have a problem with people like Joel Olsteen who does not preach God's word but preaches the feel good messages. Messages that encourage you is good, but one must preach the whole word of God, not just parts. Joel does not preach on sin, no wonder people like him. He will have his day before the Lord though.

There are many lies existing.
The real truth will set you free.
Why waste time with lies and falsities.
Seek first the kingdom of God.

They can preach on television all they want.. I have the V-chip and use it.

And yes, I do not think highly of gimmicks no matter who they come from.

Hmm. I *ALSO* have a problem with statistically biased "questions".

How CAN a person tell what's true and what's not? Especially on TV.
