Hello there Anil
The crucifixion of Christ was prophesied in the Old testament. In Revelation we see that this " Lamb of God " was slain from " the foundation of the world"
Consider this. Before Adam and Eve even sinned and mankind was damaged because of sin and lost his standing with God.. Jesus Christ.. as This Lamb of God was slain from the foundation of the world.
He CAME to die. Not just to deal with the matter of Sin and Satan but moreso.. His death would produce something on the Earth for God. The reason I say this is that He died in three amazing statuses.

1 -As the Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world.
2 As the Brass Serpent to deal with the old serpent satan and also to nullify this serpentine nature man had been usurped by through satan the serpent. ( brass in the bible represents Judgement and in Exodos there is an account of Moses raising the Brass Serpent in the Wilderness. Whoever looked upon it was healed.) Jesus said that Just as Moses lifted the Brass serpent in the wilderness.. so must the Son of man be lifted up.
Christ' death on the cross fulfilled this " type" in the Old Testament.

And last but certainly not least
Christ died as
3- The grain of Wheat. The word reveals that unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth to die it abides alone. But if it dies it is able to release its life within in order to produce many grains.

Christ had to come as the Lamb and as the Brass Serpent to deal with the Negative matters BUT His death has this one amazing Positive aspect that we do not always look at.

He died to release the divine Life. In this simple man was the very Life of God Anil:)
Through His crucifixion the Life of God was able to be released.
On the very night of His resurrection in John 20:22, He just appeared to the disciples in the room and said to them... " Peace be with you" ..Then Anil... He breathed into them and said... " RECEIVE the Holy Spirit"

THIS was the first time that God's Spirit EVER ENTERED INTO MAN.
Before in the Old Testament God's Spirit came " Upon" men and women. But He never indwelt them.
Man's spirit that had lost its function and capacity because of sin has now become ENLIVENED and Quickened by the Divine Life of God. So this wonderful faculty in man's tripartite being.. his spirit, now is able to contain God as Spirit and its from here Anil that God works within us to spread into ALL our inward parts. Its like dropping a drop of Ink on a piece of absorbant paper. Look how it spreads and moves until it reaches the edges.

This is Christ's main reason for Dying. To unlock the divine Life of God so it could be received by us. Everything was contained in this Godman Jesus Christ.. The Fulness of the Godhead dwelled in Him bodily:) This is NO Mere thing brother Anil!

Out of Christ's side.. when they pierced Him flowed TWO substances. BLood and Water.
Blood to redeem us.
Water to impart His life to us.

Just as Adam's side was opened and God took out a rib and BUILT Eve out of it...
So too will the Church Be BUILT out from the " side" of CHrist.
Its all about LIFE being dispensed and BUILDING.
Christ said He will build His church brother Anil. He does so by dispensing more and more of His life to us in our spirits. God is building up a dwelling place in spirit. Its not where hands can handle or where man can mess around with.. Its in the spiritual realm and there is a divine spiritual part of us that is involved in this buiding process.

So yes..he died.. wow.. HE DIED! Unlocking and releasing ALL of God to us.

May we truly appreciate what the Lord's death means on a deeper level daily brother.
It truly is real and wonderful.

Wonderful Question
Sorry for being so long

We cannot even say that Yeshua of Nazareth was even crucified.

First of all crucifiction in the Roman empire was limited to traitors against the state. Jesus' crime wasn't a traitorous act. It was blasphemy against YHWH, a death punishable by stoning to death (like the skit in Monty Python's Life of Brian).

Second the depiction of crucifiction in the bible is massively wrong 1) the nails wouldn't have been driven through the palms and arches of the feet, and 2) the crucifixion would have lasted days, not hours. Traitors were crucified mostly pour encourager les autres, i.e. to make sure nobody else would commit the same crime.

Third we don't even know if there was a Yeshua of Nazareth (though the consensus is that he probably existed), and almost definitely he wasn't what we are lead to believe today. The fact of the matter is that the four books of the bible were written between 95 and 200 AD (approx.) and were written to suit the various agendas of the authors within the church. And then these accounts were themselves massively doctored (for example the KJV bible is mostly an apologia for the actions of James VI&I and an attempt to justify his attempt at a power grab from parliament). So we aren't even sure we have an account of an actual person, and even if we do it has been massively changed and highly idealised. But the odds are that he was an ultra-orthodox preacher, and would be massively horrified if he knew what his followers mutated into.

Fourth some of the older accounts of Yeshua give accounts of him either being stoned or hanged outside the city limits, two methods of execution more consistent with the account of him going through a religious trial before his death.

So to answer your question, it would better to ask the following first: 1) Did he exist, 2) What were his actual teachings, and 3) How did he die? before you ask the why. And frankly none of those three questions will be properly answered until we develop time-travel.

Because society always victimises the good (in the purest sense) and those who are honest and oppose corruption are viewed as a thorn in the side of the unscrupulous who often have power. Also the weakness of people around him (Judas in particular) the people should have got together had a riot any thing to stop him being crucified but they didn't.
I sometimes feel there is some truth in the saying that only the good die young , the people whom steal a little here lie a little there seem to Cary on to old age toeing the line that matters to their life but treating the weak with contempt.
What I want to know is where was the most power full dude in existence when the greatest man of all time was set up. why did the all power full God not intervene in the suffering of his son why did he let Christ die for the sins of man since man obviously has not learnt his lesson if history has taught us anything.

Hi
I love the star of David
Why was Christ crucified? for the benefit of the Jews first, then the gentiles. it is for the salvation of all humanity. because blessed are those who bless the children of Israel, cursed are those who curse the children of Israel. Jesus prohesised that He will be put to death on the cross and He will rise again and the Islam muslims Qoran confirms it. Satan used this event to bring the blame on the Jews so the world would hate them,win-win situation temporarily until He Jesus Christ comes again. It was never the fault of any Jew, when the God of Abraham,Isaac,Jacob planned it, not one jewish soul could stop it from coming to pass. Ask any jewish rabbi, The Torah is the Truth which is jewish Bible and Jesus Christ came to extend the salvation to the gentiles and all mankind. The Christian Bible also consists of The Old Testament which is also True. I was born as a Hindu and raised as a hindu in India, i have read The Tora,The Bible and The Qoran and also Bhagavat Gita and other hindu philosophy books. today's modern day gentiles are yesterday's jews. if anyone disagrees, then are contradicting The Truth that we all came from Adam and Eve,you can verify The Tora. I as a past hindu did not come from Darwin's Evolution monkey thinking. It is very hard to keep the commandments of Moses and all the Jewish tradition and Kosher foods and many restrictions. The only distinction between a True Jew and the others is who do not live like a Jew and so are called gentiles in general which is the rest of the world human poppulation. Now it was smart to deny that Jesus Christ even existed or deny the crucifixion and especially that He was Divine.someday every knee shall bow, every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is The Saviour of all mankind. the very fact that we are right now talking about Him even after more than 2000 years,is enough evidence whether or not He existed, i correct myself, He is still alive and someday you will know it in your heart.Heavens and the earth shall pass away but His words will never.I LOVE JEWISH PEOPLE,because they teach us about God.

Christ was crucified because ignorant people felt insecure by his growing popularity amonst the common people. Although Jesus never claimed to be a miracle healer or messenger of GOD but his being a highly evolved soul, helped people. Even to this day all those who would try to aleviate the sufferings of common people will be crucified if the ignorant people feel threatened by such a noble soul's popularity and if such ignorant people's vested interests are considered to be challenged.

Christ was crucified then only people realize that they had done wrong, but even Christ pray for those who crucified Him. This is a big lessen for all us which he left for us that we can win the world only with love not by wealth. See Christ becomes God for christians, he is worshipped by generations to generations, because he was the true lover, the real saint.

there are a number of reasons given for his Crucifixion. None of them carry water. Jews do no longer crucify human beings. They stoned them. Romans crucify people who're thieves and violators of the Roman rule.one that claims or is asserted to have claimed that they seem to be a son of G-d may be Treason to the Romans. Romans crucify people who commit Treason. The communicate that got here approximately with Pilate is probable the main arguable writings of what relatively got here approximately. whilst there is doubt interior the communicate there can not be a foundation for certainty. consequently, why Jesus replaced into crucified (if in certainty he replaced into) it does no longer have been on the palms of the Jews which we've been all delivered approximately have self assurance. whilst are the Romans or Roman Catholic church ever going to admit their involvement? They conceal each little thing else that contradicts their coaching, what makes you so advantageous they have been given this ideal?

The "Law" he broke, according to the Sanhedrin was blaspheme - claiming to be the Son of God. In actuality, they feared the growing support his teachings had and feared for their 'political' security with Rome. Since the Sanhedrin could not execute anyone by themselves, they contrived the story about Christ as a rebel that claimed he was the one who would overthrow the Roman government so that Pilot would authorize the crucifixion.

Ultimately, though, he was crucified because he chose to be, was prophesied to be, was destined to be. If Christ were to have come in today's world, he might have been electrocuted or injected. Either way, the result that matters happened 3 days later when he came out of the grave.

Jesus himself answered this question.

He was bringing the light of God to the world... and those who do wrong things want to keep everything hidden.

Therefore, they don't want the light to come lest the things they do will be discovered. So they did away with him.

Now, these days, the very principle Jesus taught on this matter has been turned UPSIDE DOWN. People today say the crucifixion was good news!!!

But Jesus didn't agree. He said "the light will be with you just a little while longer." So Jesus didn't see it as good news.

He also inferred that the tree was about to "dry up" right before the Crucifixion. So indeed, the light was extinguished at the crucifixion. The crucifixion was not good news... that idea came from Paul's gospel, not the Kingdom Gospel.

Get the complete story here...

From the viewpoint of people, Jesus Christ was crucified for claiming He is the Christ, the Son of God. The religious leaders of Israel did not believe Him and thought He had committed blasphemy. (Matthew 26)

From God's viewpoint, Jesus Christ was crucified on the cross as the perfect sacrifice to purge our sins forever, and redeem us from the curse of the law and give us the blessing of Abraham, which is the righteousness of God by faith.

"Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29)

"God...His Son...when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high...
But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God" (Hebrews 1:1-3; 10:12)

"Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." (Galatians 3:13-14)

This is a multi-faceted question posed in one sentence. Aside from the obvious Christian response which would be to cleanse us of our sins via "the blood of the Lamb" in front of G-d to offer eternal life spiritually to His believers, I understand the other components to be that Jews believed he proclaimed to be G-d, thereby warranting his crucifixion. His teachings weren't appreciated or taken well by some and he was viewed to have, in essence, a "rebel" type teaching. In some ways, although Christ said he came to fulfill the law rather than abolish it, the Jews felt he was also breaking and disrespecting the laws of Moses, of which they lived their lives by, in addition to the oral Torah.

When given a choice by the governor of the Roman Empire between executing Jesus of Nazareth or a known murderer being set free, the people chose to have the murderer set free and have Jesus crucified. Essentially, there was a significant difference in what the Jews believed and what Jesus was teaching. While many Jews did convert to Christendom, some didn't. The Jewish elders had great issue with Christ's teachings and felt that by claiming to be "the son of G-d" he had committed the great offense of blasphemy, thereby warranting his death.

What must further be understood is that there are over 300 branches to the "Church of Christ", with the Roman Catholic Church believing themselves to be the one Christ himself founded. For example, there are different interpretations of what was to be carried over from Judaism and included in the practices of Christianity and what should remain behind. Hence the observance of Kosher dietary laws outlined in Leviticus and those who maintain all food was deemed clean, it is what comes out of man that makes him either clean or unclean. When considering the Jewish and Christian perspective, you will find various answers on opposite ends of the spectrum.
