We both agree that absolute certainty is not humanly possible.
We agree that Judaism, Islam and other major religions are wrong.
We agree that Thor, Zeus and thousands of other Gods never existed.
Can I get a giant hug since we agree on so much??

green_sprout: check your definition of "agnostic", it's flawed. Since no one is absolutely certain about anything, that would make everyone an agnostic about everything - and that's plainly not the case.

Acit Zebra: Yes, that's why addressed my question to mainstream Christians, not fundamentalist Christians or cults.

Charles: You are "absolutely" wrong. I do understand how the Gregorian calendar works but I am just passionately opposed to its use on religious grounds.

As a mainstream Christian, who is also a mathematician, your first assertion is incorrect. We know, for example, that you do not understand how the Gregorian calendar works. :) There are many things we know for certain.

You second assertion is true, but grossly incomplete since it fails to include both Christianity and atheism.

HTH

[Late Edit] Hahahahaha! Dream on.

I believe in God-thats all that matters, I don't really think about the other things you mentioned, they don't really matter-sry but thats how I feel. But athiest don't believe in GOD, thats the only difference between me and them. Maybe other christains who get into degrading other peoples choices-which is a sin for men to judge even if they believe they are right, but it's not right because God gives us the freedom to make our own choices, this is why I keep it simple- I just praise my God, forget about the others believe, I will let HIM deal with them.

LOL, although I'd challenge your notion of "absolute certainty," since an atheist is by definition absolutely certain of the nonexistence of divine beings. Are you sure you're not a closet agnostic?

I'm sorry, but don't hardcore Christians deal almost exclusively in absolutes?

Why bash Zeus then? I share as much in common with the believers of it as you do with me.
