I mean the ones who live in mansions, fly in private planes, drive Rolls, wear Rollex watches and then beg for donations from people who are barely making a living. Here are a few of the greedy ones, I refer to.
Randy and Paula White of Without Walls International Church and Paula White Ministries of Tampa, Fla.; Benny Hinn of World Healing Center Church Inc. and Benny Hinn Ministries of Grapevine, Texas; David and Joyce Meyer of Joyce Meyer Ministries of Fenton, Mo.; Kenneth and Gloria Copeland of Kenneth Copeland Ministries of Newark, Texas; Bishop Eddie Long of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church and Bishop Eddie Long Ministries of Lithonia, Ga.; and Creflo and Taffi Dollar of World Changers Church International and Creflo Dollar Ministries of College Park, Ga.

No! If you want to donate money give it to hungry people living on the street.

Lets not forget our old pally Jimmy Swaggert, he's still there, if you get up early enough. Jack Van Impe, who keeps pushing dates back for the end of the world, and a jillion more. Whatever happened to W.V. Grant, the miracle worker? Did you get the deceiver Peter Popoff. who was found to be a liar in the 1980"s?

Actually I feel donating to your own church is a far greater contribution than giving donations to t.v.Preachers. Not necessarily because they have what you say, but because your local church helps your community. and when you talk of people who are barley making a living they will most likely get a greater help from their own town and church than that of another. Especially if they are know to helping others. I truly believe in karma you get what you give. Treat others as you want to be treated etc. etc.

Before sending a penny it is always good sense to get a certified accountants statement on the organization ,then think it over, then decide, if a financial statement is not available , then wait till it is. Raising public awareness for a worth cause is always a win win situation for everyone.

As Catholic Christians we are to make our financial contributions to our local parish first. We should also be mindful of any organizations that exist that are legitimatley known for helping those in need whether it be spiritual or physical
"By the commandment to contribute to the support of the Church is meant that each of us is obligated to bear his fair share of the financial burden of the holy See, of the diocese and of the parish"

I would not send a donation to any of the TV ministers you mentioned. There are, however, many TV ministers that I would consider sending a donation to: Charles Stanley, David Jeremiah, D. James Kennedy (diseased), and Adrian Rogers (also diseased).

No, never. I support my own church and pastor. Some of those preachers you mentioned give Christianity a bad name. I doubt that God is pleased with their flashiness.

I got saved through the ministry of the 700 club.....and I used to give to Pat Robertson's ministry faithfully every month.
There's nothing wrong with supporting a tv ministry.........as long as they are working for the Lord.
