It feels like they are coming from my heart. I feel sharp pains which continue for about 2 minutes then go away. pain scale it hits a 4 or 5. Im 20 in great shape and the nurse says my blood pressure is great. I didn't mention this pain tho.

yes you should...
it would have helped if you had provided extra information such as your age, overall health, when the feeling comes on, etc...
i'll check back for additional info and may edit my post depending upon what you answer.

ABSOLUTELY! How old are you and do you have any history of heart attack or a history in your family. What else happens when you have this pain....are you short of breathe,,nauseaous,,vomiting....radiating pain? What are you doing or eating when it happens. DO you have high blood pressure.
one of the first things we have to remember about any illness is that we all think it cant happen to us...but it can...
even thought you arent having pain now...go to the doctor anyway..if it was a heart attack the MD will know and guide you in the right direction

Age don't have jack crap to do with heart attacks. Chest pains should be treated in ER. Unless you are a hypochondriac.

this could also be the result of nerves or anxiety,so i've been told by the doctor,if yo are experiencing a heart attack of any type you may feel a crushing sensation in your chest, pains up your arm, neck, etc,i would definately go to the doctor & get it checked it out though.

If these pains are not related to physical exertion, then probably not your heart. If you report this to the Doctor he will have you do a stress test, to check it out.

Absolutely get it checked out. More often than not, chest pains can be caused by some other strain you put on your chest muscles, or, simply, indigestion or gas. At any rate, don't mess with it, get it checked out.

Depends. If that's the only symptom You have, probably not, unless You want to pay an emergency room bill for being told You have heartburn. But if You're also getting other symptoms along with it, then by all means go.
