No
We sin every day, so we must ask for forgiveness.
Do you honor your mother and your father? Do you find it hard to live honorable in your parents house? If so you may be still growing. Everyone learns to walk before you run.
God the Father deserves your love, honor, and praise. Practice his word daily and you will find it is a part of your life even when you slip and fall he is there for you.

Thanks for posing this question to Christians. It is a hard fight for the faith and trying to live up to Godly principles. I struggle each day to abide by the fruit of the spirit which is: love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faith, mildness and self control. I see the need to watch my attitude and speech, my thoughts and conduct, but many times have failed miserably. This has made me realise how imperfect I am and how much I appreciate Christ's redeeming sacrifice. It is through keeping up with my bible reading and prayer that helps me to face another day and try to work on my weaknesses.

Yes, because Christians are called many things. Many of them not good. I'm not a stereotypical Christian. I have my values, but I don't condemn anyone, nor force my religion into anyone. I choose for myself what to think. I am an adult and if I think reading the bible is right, then that's me and my life. If that doesn't fit the lifestyles of people, I accept that, and understand.

My feelings on this matter is that: It is easier to abide with the Laws of God and the Laws of the land rather than to place your-self against it.

I find that living for God is Freedom.

Very Pain full. When you have to take the stripes too. It is a package that many will come to know later.

However it is worth it.

God Honoring life? That is a High calling. Only those that have died to this world can be one. Me, I am lucky, or bless, if it makes you comfortable , to be able to endure and keep my Faith to the end of my life in this world.

Yes, after reading about Noah's ark story between the lines. What kind of God the Christians are worshiping!

Christians just have to follow what Jesus has preached, He did not bring out rules as to what you have to do or not. Just LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOUR SELF. All the others are man made.

Of course it's hard. If it were easy we would be perfect. To be a Christian means that the Holy Spirit builds you to become more like Christ. Our goal is to be like Christ, and seeing as he was perfect, we can't reach that goal, but God wants us to try anyways. Trying to keep from sin is hard, and will never be easy, but you must learn to guard your heart. As my Bible teacher says: "We have to take ourselves off the throne in our lives, and give it to God." Meaning, we have to let Him take over completely. We have to give ourselves up to Him. He will guide us to be more like Him. It'll never be easy...

If you're struggling with this, why not give it a break for a year or so? Life should be a joy, not a struggle.

When I was a Christian, yes.

I found that it was very difficult to maintain faith in a god believing that despite his alleged love, he would torture all those that I Ioved in fire forever. I also found it very difficult that despite years of sincere prayer for him to heal my suicidal depression (in Jesus' name, of course) he never healed me.

Of course, I got much better when I became atheist. Do you think that was your god's way of healing me? :)
