Old PCs, laptops, monitors, cellphones....this is the kind of stuff towns should recycle at their transfer stations. Where are we supposed to bring this stuff?

I checked Staples...they charge $10 to take an old PC for recycling. Please don't give answers if your info is wrong.

In Austin, TX, you take it to Goodwill.

• LaserJet
• No Dot Matrix, please!
Networking equipment:
• Ethernet cable
• Routers, hubs and switches
Miscellaneous equipment
• Power cords, keyboards, mice
• RAM, Hard Drives, CD ROMs
• Scanners, cameras, fax machines and so on

The minimum velocity for WinXP is 233 MHz. verify what speend you have there. it may run yet very slowly. you have slightly incorrect information however. computers don't have geared up-in audio gadget. there's a jack on the lower back to plug in exterior audio gadget. He could be greater beneficial off getting something swifter. Even something used could be ok.

I know a man at Gatesville that take old pcs and fix them up . He give the pc to children that mostlikely not ever get one. If interested let me know. Tom
