The 6.305 reading was most likely the TSH. TSH should be under 2.0, though soe labs gave the range as high as 3.0 and others have it as high as 5.5. Your TSH reading shows that your thyroid is underactive and most lkelt requires thyroid medication. The next time and every time you test make sure its a first thing in the morning test. This is because TSH is highest while we sleep and you want to catch it near its high point.

An underactive thyroid is called hypothyroidism. It effects your whole body because the thyroid regulates metabolism. Symptoms of the condition may include; weight gain, difficulty losing weight, fatigue, depression, low body temp, increased cholesterol levels, dry thinning hair, dry skin, low blood pressure, slow heart rate, muscle and joint aches, mood changes, headaches, fertility problems, and brain fog.

Hyperative thyoid will cause trouble sleeping
you wake up 4 or 5 times a night.

If it is hyperative you will get a radioactive horse pill
that will disolve the thyroid and you will be on meds the
rest of your life.

That is where i am at.
