And all animal products too, then i realises that plants are alive too, and some studies have shown that plants can "feel" fear, pain and joy! Now I have to stop eating plants too. When I have my surgery to install a feeding tube, what nutritional supplements are completely animal and plant free?

I don't appreciate your sarcastic remark, I'm sacrificing my body to have a tube installed to save plants! And you mock me! What is wrong with you!

2007-12-03 05:19:40 · update #1

If you people are just going to mock me, and play your childish games PLEASE do not answer.

I find it extremely hypocritical to be as kind and considerate to animals as you are, yet youare this cruel to a human being who genuinely needs your assistance.

There are man made chemical nutrients that you pump thru the feeding tube directly into the stomach! Meat is murder, and eating veggies is MURDER too, plants are ALIVE! How hard is that to understand!

2007-12-03 05:27:57 · update #4

Hey that's fine, go ahead and make fun of me, I'm not the one living with the murder of helpless plants and animals on my hands. At least I'm being proactive, not like the rest of you who thrive on the dead bodys of plants and animals.

Eat fruit???? Are you crazy! Fruit is alive man! Fruit is the womb of a tree, and you're eating the babies! That's so disgusting i can';t even comprehend the mind that would actually consider it.

2007-12-03 05:35:40 · update #6

Here I was thinking that vegetarians would actually understand and help, but you people are just as cruel as those evil hunters are! I come here for help and you all mock me from the safety of your keyboards. Go ahead, keep murdering helpless plants and animals so you can live. What makes YOU so much more important and valueable than a plant or animal? LIFE is LIFE, it's all sacred, and here you are, hypocrtically eating a living thing called a vegetable and you think it's fine. You people disgust me!

You find murder funny vegan? You think it's funny??? You are a sick child.

Look, it's really simple, my question has nothing to do with ordering a pizza or being an indian( that was by far the most idiotic answer so far) My question is about the chemical, man made nutritional supplements I'm going to start using in my feeding tube, are they completely animal and vegetable free?

You're right.

The only humane thing to do is to curl up and die of starvation because all food comes from evil sources

Hon, I don't know where you got the idea that plants are alive. Plants do not have hearts, nor nervous systems, nor brains like mammals do. They don't feel pain like mammals do. I don't know if you are a Christian or not, but Adam and Eve's diet consisted primarily of fruit, nuts, grains and legumes (beans). And they had perfect bodies and were in perfect health.

Refraining from meat and dairy products will be sufficient. These studies that you mentioned are giving out false information. Leaving out veggies and fruits would be the worst thing to do for your body. Your body needs the supplements these plants provide.

I am sorry you have to have a feeding tube installed. You will be in my prayers.

Please just ignore the people who have been cruel to you. And when asking a question make it a point to state that you will only take serious answers.

The whole "plants can feel" and "plants scream when being cut down/pruned" has been traced to L. Ron Hubbard, the 'genius' behind Scientology and other stunning insights and discoveries. It was all a part of his bungled-up ideas about life forces and his religious theories, and somehow was connected to aliens (it was so ridiculous, you, Tom, as someone that appreciates foolishness, should look up pictures of L.Ron Hubbard standing next to plants with all these ridiculous meters and machines hooked to them, trying to measure their screams, etc.) It's basically bogus findings and rumors. It's been kept alive by gags and by amateur science experiments by kids in science fairs and in collegiate programs.

Wouldn't it be marvelous if science could genetically alter all human beings so we could live off of air and sunshine? But of course we couldn't take nutrients from the soil like plants, because animals die and disintegrate into our soil...

when a potato has grown in the soil, what happens to it if left alone???? it dies. Im sure it wont mind dying a few days early because you have eaten it. I think you are being a bit hysterical myself, not to be rude. vegetables are grown to be eaten or they just die anyway.

Your reason seems to me to be very understanding. I just started not eating meat last week and I haven't ate any. I hope that you get well from the vitamin supplement. And to the other people who answered this, its his choice of lifestyle. Please don't make fun of his situation. Some of your answers are extremely rude. I hope you don't take their answers to heart some people just like to make others feel bad but they are the ones that are feeling bad about themselves.

Did it ever occur to you that plants grow fruits and veggies for the purpose of animals eating them and spreading their seeds around? It is designed to be a symbiotic relationship.
Animals gain no such advantage in being eaten. The only advantage they recieve is a evolutionary one of having the weak thinned from their ranks, a process that has been completely removed by factory farming. Instead we seek to weaken their evolutionary ability by homogonizing them for optimum meat and dairy production.

None. Everything comes from somewhere. Where does the lunacy end? You might be breathing the air that something else needs? Or worse...you're killing the bacteria that you are breathing in. It deserves to live too!

Can you eat eggs? . . . Even raw? . . . Do embryos feel the pain? . . . I am not sure. It's okay to abort human fetuses though . . . Would that be the same as an abortion on a chicken? . . . Maybe your questions has opened a whole new Chicken Little cage . . . Sorta like a "Pandora's Box" . . . Huh?
